Sahih Muslim 706c
Mu'adh bin Jabal (رضئ ِهللا تعالی عنہ) reported that he went along with Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) in the expedition of Tabuk and the Prophet s) combined the prayers. He offered the noon and afternoon prayers together and the sunset and night prayers together and on the other day he deferred the prayers; he then came out and offered the noon and afternoon prayers together. He then went in and (later) came out and then after that offered the sunset and night prayers together and then said, Allah willing, you would reach by tomorrow the fountain of Tabuk and you should not come to that until it is dawn, and he who amongst you happens to go there should not touch its water until I come. We came to that and two persons (amongst) us reached that fountain ahead of us. It was a thin flow of water like the shoelace. Allah's Apostle ( ِصلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) asked them whether they had touched the water. They said, yes. Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) scolded them, and he said to them what he had to say by the will of Allah. The people then took water of the fountain in their palms until it became somewhat significant and Allah's Apostle (صلى ِهللا عليه ِو ِآله وسلم) washed his hands and his face too in it, and then, took it again in that (fountain) and there gushed forth abundant water from that fountain, until all the people drank to their fill. He then said, Mu'adh (رضي الله تعالى عنه), it is hoped that if you live long you would see its water irrigating well the gardens.
حضرت معاذ بن جبل رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ غزوہ تبوک کے لیے نکلے تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم دو نمازوں کو جمع کرتے تھے، آپ نے ظہر اور عصر اکٹھی پڑھیں اور مغرب وعشاء کو جمع کیا، حتیٰ کہ آپ نے ایک دن نماز کو مؤخر کیا، پھر نکلے اورظہر اور عصر کو اکٹھا پڑھا، پھر اپنے خیمےمیں داخل ہوگئے، پھر اس کے بعد نکلے اور مغرب وعشاء کو جمع کیا، پھر فرمایا، ”تم کل ان شاء اللہ تبوک کے چشمہ پر پہنچ جاؤ گے اور تم اس پردن چڑھے ہی پہنچو گے تو تم میں سے جو اس پر پہنچے،میرے پہنچنے سے پہلے اس کے پانی کو ہاتھ نہ لگائے،“ ہم اس پر پہنچے تو ہم سے پہلے دو آدمی پہنچ گئے تھے اور چشمہ میں تسمہ کی مانند تھوڑا تھوڑا پانی بہہ رہا تھا۔رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان دونوں سے پوچھا، ”کیا تم نے اس کے پانی کو ہاتھ لگایاہے؟“ انہوں نے کہا، جی ہاں تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں ڈانٹا، سخت سست کہا اوراللہ کو جو منظورتھا، انہیں کہا،پھر لوگوں نے اپنے ہاتھوں سے چشمہ سے تھوڑا تھوڑا پانی نکالا، حتیٰ کہ وہ کس چیز میں جمع ہوگیا اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس میں اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اور چہرہ دھویا، پھر پانی اس چشمے میں لوٹا دیا تو چشمہ سے پانی جوش یا کثرت سے نکلنے لگا، حتیٰ کہ لوگوں نے (پی لیا اور) پلایا اورپھر فرمایا: ”اے معاذ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ!قریب ہے،اگر تجھے لمبی عمر ملی تو تم یہاں کے علاقہ کو باغوں سے بھرا ہوا دیکھو گے۔“
Hazrat Muaz bin Jabal (Razi Allahu Anhu) bayan karte hain, hum Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke sath Ghazwa Tabook ke liye nikle to Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) do namazon ko jama karte the, Aap ne Zuhr aur Asr ikatthi padhin aur Maghrib o Isha ko jama kiya, hatta ke Aap ne ek din namaz ko moakhar kiya, phir nikle aur Zuhr aur Asr ko ikattha padha, phir apne khaime mein dakhil ho gaye, phir uske baad nikle aur Maghrib o Isha ko jama kiya, phir farmaya, "Tum kal Insha Allah Tabook ke chashma par pahunch jao ge aur tum us par din chadhe hi pahuncho ge to tum mein se jo us par pahunche, mere pahunchne se pehle uske pani ko hath na lagaye," Hum us par pahunche to hum se pehle do aadmi pahunch gaye the aur chashma mein tasma ki manind thoda thoda pani beh raha tha. Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne un donon se poocha, "Kya tum ne uske pani ko hath lagaya hai?" Unhon ne kaha, ji haan to Nabi Akram (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne unhen danta, sakht sust kaha aur Allah ko jo manzoor tha, unhen kaha, phir logon ne apne hathon se chashma se thoda thoda pani nikala, hatta ke woh kis cheez mein jama ho gaya aur Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne us mein apne donon hath aur chehra dhoya, phir pani us chashme mein lauta diya to chashma se pani josh ya kasrat se nikalne laga, hatta ke logon ne (pee liya aur) pilaya aur phir farmaya: "Aye Muaz (Razi Allahu Anhu)! qareeb hai, agar tujhe lambi umar mili to tum yahan ke ilaqah ko baghon se bhara hua dekho ge."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَنَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَنَسٍ - عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَكِّيِّ، أَنَّ أَبَا الطُّفَيْلِ، عَامِرَ بْنَ وَاثِلَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَامَ غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ فَكَانَ يَجْمَعُ الصَّلاَةَ فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ وَالْعَصْرَ جَمِيعًا وَالْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ جَمِيعًا حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمًا أَخَّرَ الصَّلاَةَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ وَالْعَصْرَ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ دَخَلَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَصَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ قَالَ " إِنَّكُمْ سَتَأْتُونَ غَدًا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ عَيْنَ تَبُوكَ وَإِنَّكُمْ لَنْ تَأْتُوهَا حَتَّى يُضْحِيَ النَّهَارُ فَمَنْ جَاءَهَا مِنْكُمْ فَلاَ يَمَسَّ مِنْ مَائِهَا شَيْئًا حَتَّى آتِيَ " . فَجِئْنَاهَا وَقَدْ سَبَقَنَا إِلَيْهَا رَجُلاَنِ وَالْعَيْنُ مِثْلُ الشِّرَاكِ تَبِضُّ بِشَىْءٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ - قَالَ - فَسَأَلَهُمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " هَلْ مَسَسْتُمَا مِنْ مَائِهَا شَيْئًا " . قَالاَ نَعَمْ . فَسَبَّهُمَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقَالَ لَهُمَا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَقُولَ - قَالَ - ثُمَّ غَرَفُوا بِأَيْدِيهِمْ مِنَ الْعَيْنِ قَلِيلاً قَلِيلاً حَتَّى اجْتَمَعَ فِي شَىْءٍ - قَالَ - وَغَسَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِيهِ يَدَيْهِ وَوَجْهَهُ ثُمَّ أَعَادَهُ فِيهَا فَجَرَتِ الْعَيْنُ بِمَاءٍ مُنْهَمِرٍ أَوْ قَالَ غَزِيرٍ - شَكَّ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ أَيُّهُمَا قَالَ - حَتَّى اسْتَقَى النَّاسُ ثُمَّ قَالَ " يُوشِكُ يَا مُعَاذُ إِنْ طَالَتْ بِكَ حَيَاةٌ أَنْ تَرَى مَا هَا هُنَا قَدْ مُلِئَ جِنَانًا " .
