Chapter: Clarifying the usage of the word Kafir for one who abandons Salat

باب بَيَانِ إِطْلاَقِ اسْمِ الْكُفْرِ عَلَى مَنْ تَرَكَ الصَّلاَةَ ‏‏

Sahih Muslim 81b

A'mash narrated the above Hadith with the same chain of transmitters, with this change of words that he (the Satan) said : I disobeyed and I am doomed to Hell.

امام صاحبؒ ایک دوسری سند سے یہی روایت بیان کرتے ہیں، اتنا فرق ہے کہ اس میں "ابیتُ" کی بجائے "عَصَیْتُ" ”(میں نے نافرمانی کی) اس لیے میرے لیے آگ ہے۔“

Imam Sahib (Rahmatullahi Alaih) ek doosri sanad se yehi riwayat bayan karte hain, itna farq hai ke is mein "abaitu" ki bajaye "asaitu" "(main ne nafarmani ki) is liye mere liye aag hai."

حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏ "‏ فَعَصَيْتُ فَلِيَ النَّارُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
