Chapter: Greeting (prayers upon entering the masjid) while the Imam is preaching

باب التَّحِيَّةِ وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ ‏

Sahih Muslim 875b

This Hadith is narrated by Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) through another chain of transmitters but Hammad (one of the narrators) made no mention of the two rak'a.

مصنف دوسری سند سےیہی روایت لائے ہیں اور اس میں دو رکعت کا ذکر نہیں ہے۔

Musannif dusri sanad se yehi riwayat laye hain aur is mein do rak'at ka zikr nahi hai.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَيَعْقُوبُ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَمَا قَالَ حَمَّادٌ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ ‏.‏
