Ubayy bin Ka’b (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited Surah Al-Bayyinah in front of him and read in it: “Indeed, the accepted religion in the sight of Allah is [only] Islam. Those who were given the Scripture before it [i.e., Jews and Christians] did not differ except out of mutual envy after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the verses of Allah , then indeed, Allah is swift in taking account. And whoever does righteous deeds will not be denied [its reward].” (Translation: Kanzul Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan, may Allah have mercy on him). ** This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) did not narrate it.
" حضرت ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : نبی اکرم ﷺ نے ان کے سامنے سورۃ بینہ کی تلاوت کی اور اس میں یہ پڑھا : اِنَّ ذَاتَ الدِّیْنِ عِنْدَ اللّٰہِ الْحَنِیْفِیَّۃُ لاَ الْیَھُودِیَّۃُ وَلا النَّصْرَانِیَّۃُ وَلا الْمَجُوسِیَّۃُ وَمَنْ یَّعْمَلْ خَیْرًا فَلَنْ یُّکْفَرَہٗ ’’ اللہ کے ہاں قابل قبول دین حنیفی ہے ۔ نہ کہ یہودی اور نہ نصرانی اور نہ مجوسی اور جو بھلائی کرے وہ اس کو نہ مٹائے گا ۔‘‘ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ ) ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abi bin Kaab (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain : Nabi Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un ke samne Surah Baqarah ki tilawat ki aur is mein ye padha : Inna Zatal Deen-e-Inda Allahi al-Hanifiyatu la al-Yahooddiyatu wa la an-Nasraniyatu wa la al-Majoosiyatu wa man ya’mal khairan falan yukfarah "Allah ke haan qabil-e-qubool deen Hanifi hai. Na keh Yahooddi aur na Nasrani aur na Majoosi aur jo bhalai kare wo us ko na mitaye ga." (Tarjuma Kanzul Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Rahmatullah Alaih). ** Ye hadees Sahih al-Isnad hai lekin Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ne ise naqal nahin kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "" قَرَأَ عَلَيْهِ لَمْ يَكُنْ وَقَرَأَ فِيهَا: إِنَّ ذَاتَ الدِّينِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الْحَنِيفِيَّةُ لَا الْيَهُودِيَّةُ وَلَا النَّصْرَانِيَّةُ وَلَا الْمَجُوسِيَّةُ وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ خَيْرًا فَلَنْ يُكْفَرَهُ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 3962 - صحيح
