Mustadrak Al Hakim 1214
Abdur Rahman bin Shamasa Mehri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Uqbah bin Aamir Jahni (may Allah be pleased with him) offered prayer. When he stood up (after the second rak'ah), the rest of the people sat down. The people tried to remind him by saying "SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah" but he did not sit down and remained standing. When he completed the prayer, he performed two prostrations (of forgetfulness) in the final sitting. Then, when he turned for the Salam (greetings of peace), he said, "I heard you all saying SubhanAllah to make me sit down, but the Sunnah (the Prophet's tradition) is what I did." ** This Hadith is Sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of both Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on them both), but neither of them narrated it.
" حضرت عبدالرحمن بن شماسہ مہری رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : حضرت عقبہ بن عامر جہنی نے نماز پڑھائی تو وہ کھڑے ہو گئے اور باقی لوگ بیٹھے رہے ، لوگوں نے ’’ سبحان اللہ ، سبحان اللہ ‘‘ کہہ کر لقمے دیے لیکن وہ نہ بیٹھے اور بدستور کھڑے رہے اور جب نماز مکمل کر لی تو آخری قعدے میں دو سجدے کیے پھر جب سلام پھیرا تو فرمایا : میں نے ابھی تمہیں سنا ہے کہ تمم لوگ مجھے بٹھانے کے لیے سبحان اللہ کہہ رہے تھے لیکن سنت وہی ہے جو میں نے کیا ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری و امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہما دونوں کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن دونوں نے ہی اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Shamma Mahri Raziallahu Anhu farmate hain : Hazrat Uqba bin Aamir Jahni ne namaz parhayi to woh kharay ho gaye aur baqi log baithe rahe, logon ne Subhan Allah, Subhan Allah keh kar luqme diye lekin woh na baithe aur badastoor kharay rahe aur jab namaz mukammal kar li to aakhri qaday mein do sijde kiye phir jab salam pheera to farmaya : main ne abhi tumhein suna hai ki tumm log mujhe bithane ke liye Subhan Allah keh rahe thay lekin sunnat wohi hai jo main ne kiya. ** Yeh hadees Imam Bukhari wa Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaihima donon ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin donon ne hi ise naqal nahi kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُنْقِذٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، ثنا إِدْرِيسُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ثنا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ شِمَاسَةَ الْمَهْرِيَّ يَقُولُ: «صَلَّى بِنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيُّ فَقَامَ وَعَلَيْهِ جُلُوسٌ» فَقَالَ النَّاسُ: سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، «فَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ وَمَضَى عَلَى قِيَامِهِ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ فِي آخِرِ صَلَاتِهِ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ» ، فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ قَالَ: "" إِنِّي سَمِعْتُكُمْ آنِفًا تَقُولُونَ: سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ لِكَيْمَا أَجْلِسَ لَكِنَّ السُّنَّةَ الَّذِي صَنَعْتُ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» كِتَابُ الِاسْتِسْقَاءِ
