Mustadrak Al Hakim 1605
The Mother of the Believers, Sayyidah Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, narrated that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no Itikaf (spiritual retreat) without fasting." **Imam Bukhari, may Allah have mercy on him, and Imam Muslim, may Allah have mercy on him, did not narrate the reports of Sufyan bin Husayn and Abdullah bin Yazid.**
" اُم المومنین سیّدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا فرماتی ہیں : نبی اکرم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا : روزے کے بغیر اعتکاف نہیں ہوتا ۔ ٭٭ امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے سفیان بن حسین اور عبداللہ بن یزید کی روایات نقل نہیں ۔"
Um ul momineen Sayyidah Ayesha raziallahu anha farmati hain : Nabi Akram ﷺ ne irshad farmaya : rozey ke baghair itikaf nahi hota . ** Imam Bukhari rehmatullah alaih aur Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih ne Sufiyan bin Hussain aur Abdullah bin Yazid ki riwayat naqal nahi .
حَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، ثنا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا اعْتِكَافَ إِلَّا بِصِيَامٍ» لَمْ يَحْتَجَّ الشَّيْخَانِ بِسُفْيَانَ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ "
