Mustadrak Al Hakim 1634
Suhayb (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) intended to enter a town, upon laying eyes on it, he would supplicate: “O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and what they shade, and Lord of the seven earths and what they contain, and Lord of the devils and those they misguide, and Lord of the winds and what they scatter, we ask You for the good of this town and the good of its people, and we seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of its people, and the evil of what is in it.” O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and the seven earths – and they will not be few – and Lord of the devils, and they will not be able to misguide, and Lord of the winds, and their darkness will not destroy, we ask You for the good of this town and the good of its people. And we seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of its people, and the evil of what is in it. **This hadith has a sound chain of narration, but Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) did not narrate it.**
" حضرت صہیب رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : نبی اکرم ﷺ جب کسی بستی میں داخل ہونا چاہتے تو جیسے ہی اس پر نظر پڑتی تو یوں دعا مانگتے :’’ اللّٰھُمّ رب السماوات السبع وما اظللن ، وربّ الارَضِین السَّبعِ وما اقللنَ ، ورب الشیاطین وما اضللن ، وربّ الریاح وما ذریْنَ ، فَاِنَّا نسألک خیر ھذہ القریۃ وخیر اھلھا ، ونعوذبک من شرِّھا وشرِّ اَھلِھا ، وشرِّ مَافیھا ۔’’ اے اللہ ! اے ساتوں آسمانوں اور ساتوں زمینوں کے رب ! اور وہ زمینیں کم نہ ہوں گی ، اور اے شیطانوں کے رب ! اور وہ شیطان گمراہ نہ کر سکیں گے اور اے آندھیوں کے رب ! اور اندھیریاں تباہی نہ کر سکیں گی ، ہم تجھ سے اس بستی کی اور بستی والوں کی خیریت مانگتے ہیں ۔ اور اس بستی کے شر ، اس کے رہنے والوں کے شر اور جو کچھ اس میں ہے ، اس تمام کے شر سے تیری پناہ مانگتے ہیں ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Sohaib (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain : Nabi Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab kisi basti mein dakhil hona chahte to jaise hi us par nazar parti to yun dua mangte :’’ Allahumma Rabbas Samawati Assab'i Wama Azallaln , Wa Rabbal Ardeenas Sab'i Wama Aqlaln , Wa Rabbash Shayaatina Wama Adallaln , Wa Rabbar Riyahi Wama Zarrayn , Fa Inna Nes'aluka Khaira Hadhihil Qaryati Wa Khaira Ahleha , Wa Naoozubika Min Sharriha Wa Sharri Ahleha , Wa Sharri Mafeeha .’’ Ae Allah ! Ae saaton asmanon aur saaton zameenon ke Rab ! Aur wo zameenein kam na hon gi , aur ae shaitano ke Rab ! Aur wo shaitan gumrah na kar saken ge aur ae aandhiyon ke Rab ! Aur andheriyan tabahi na kar saken gi , hum tujh se is basti ki aur basti walon ki khairat mangte hain . Aur is basti ke shar , is ke rehne walon ke shar aur jo kuch is mein hai , is tamam ke shar se teri panaah mangte hain . ** Yeh hadees sahih ul isnad hai lekin Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ne is ko naqal nahin kya .
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي حَفْصُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْوَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ كَعْبًا حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ صُهَيْبًا صَاحِبَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَرَ قَرْيَةً يُرِيدُ دُخُولَهَا إِلَّا قَالَ حِينَ يَرَاهَا: «اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَمَا أَظْلَلْنَ، وَرَبَّ الْأَرَضِينَ السَّبْعِ وَمَا أَقْلَلْنَ، وَرَبَّ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَمَا أَضْلَلْنَ، وَرَبَّ الرِّيَاحِ وَمَا ذَرَيْنَ، فَإِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ وَخَيْرَ أَهْلِهَا، وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ أَهْلِهَا، وَشَرِّ مَا فِيهَا» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "
