Mustadrak Al Hakim 1660
Ata said, Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) asked Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him): Do you know that ostrich eggs were presented to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as a gift while he was in the state of Ihram, but he returned them? He replied: Yes. ** This hadith is authentic (sahih) according to the criteria of Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) but it is not narrated in the Sahihayn (the two most authentic books of Hadith).
" حضرت عطا فرماتے ہیں ، ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے زید بن ارقم رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا : کیا تمہیں معلوم ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کو حالت احرام میں شتر مرغ کے انڈے ہدیہ کے طور پر پیش کیے گئے تھے لیکن آپ نے وہ واپس کر دیے تھے ؟ انہوں نے جواب دیا : جی ہاں ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن اسے صحیحین میں نقل نہیں کیا گیا ۔"
Hazrat Ata farmate hain, Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne Zaid bin Arqam (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se kaha: kya tumhen maloom hai ke Rasul Allah SAW ko halat ehram mein shutar murgh ke ande hadiya ke tor par pesh kiye gaye the lekin aap ne wo wapas kar diye the? Unhon ne jawab diya: ji haan. ** Yeh hadees Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin ise sahihain mein naqal nahin kiya gaya.
أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَاضِي بِمَرْوَ، ثنا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ الطَّبَّاعِ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: يَا زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ، «هَلْ عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُهْدِي لَهُ بَيْضَاتُ نَعَامٍ، وَهُوَ حَرَامٌ فَرَدَّهُنَّ» ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ»
