Mustadrak Al Hakim 1767
On the authority of Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: A bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: "My father is an old man, and he has become Muslim, but he is unable to perform Hajj, nor can he ride. If I were to mount him on my riding beast and tie him with a rope, I fear he may die." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Perform Hajj on behalf of your father." ** This hadith is authentic (sahih) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim, but the two Sheikhs did not narrate it with these words. **
" حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شیخ نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کی بارگاہ میں حاضر ہو کر عرض کی : میرا والد بوڑھا ہے ، وہ مسلمان ہو گیا ہے لیکن وہ حج نہیں کر سکا اور وہ سواری پر سوار نہیں ہو سکتا اور اگر اس کو سواری پر بٹھا کر رسی سے باندھ دوں تو اس کے مر جانے کا خدشہ ہے تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : اپنے والد کی طرف سے تم حج کر لو ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین نے اسے ان الفاظ کے ہمراہ نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abu Huraira RA se riwayat hai keh aik sheikh ne Rasool Allah SAW ki bargah mein hazir ho kar arz ki: mera walid boorha hai, woh musalman ho gaya hai lekin woh Hajj nahin kar saka aur woh sawari par sawar nahin ho sakta aur agar usko sawari par bitha kar rassi se bandh dun to uske mar jane ka khadsha hai to Rasool Allah SAW ne farmaya: apne walid ki taraf se tum Hajj kar lo. ** Yeh hadees Imam Bukhari rahmatullah alaih aur Imam Muslim rahmatullah alaih ke miyar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin shaikhne ise in alfaz ke hamrah naqal nahin kiya.
أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عِصْمَةَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْعَدْلُ، ثنا السَّرِيُّ بْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ، ثنا عَوْفُ بْنُ أَبِي جَمِيلَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ أَدْرَكَ الْإِسْلَامَ وَلَمْ يَحُجَّ، وَلَا يَسْتَمْسِكُ عَلَى الرَّاحِلَةِ، وَإِنْ شَدَدْتُهُ بِالْحَبْلِ عَلَى الرَّاحِلَةِ خَشِيتُ أَنْ أَقْتُلَهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «احْجُجْ عَنْ أَبِيكَ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ بِهَذِهِ الْأَلْفَاظِ "
