Mustadrak Al Hakim 1926
Nawas bin Sam'an Kalabi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Every heart is between two fingers of the Most Merciful. He straightens it if He wills and distorts it if He wills." And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to supplicate, "O Turner of the hearts! Keep our hearts firm on Your religion." And the balance is in the Hand of the Most Merciful. He elevates whomever He wills and lowers whomever He wills until the Day of Judgment. ** This hadith is authentic according to the criteria of Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) but it is not narrated in Sahih Muslim. And there is a supporting narration for the aforementioned hadith with a Sahih chain, narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him). (The supporting narration is mentioned below).
" حضرت نواس بن سمعان کلابی رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا : ہر دل ، رحمن کی دو انگلیوں کے بیچ میں ہے ، چاہے تو اس کو سیدھا رکھے اور چاہے تو اس کو ٹیڑھا کر دے ۔ اور رسول اللہ ﷺ یہ دعا مانگا کرتے تھے ۔ اے دلوں کے پھیرنے والے ! دل کو اپنے دین پر قائم رکھ اور میزان رحمن کے ہاتھ میں ہے ، جن قوموں کو چاہتا ہے ، بلند کر دیتا ہے اور جن کو چاہتا ہے جھکا دیتا ہے ، قیامت تک ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن اسے صحیحین میں نقل نہیں کیا گیا ۔ اور سند صحیح کے ہمراہ مذکورہ حدیث کی ایک شاہد حدیث بھی موجود ہے جو کہ حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے ( شاہد حدیث درج ذیل ہے ) ۔"
Hazrat Nawas bin Saman Kalabi (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Har dil, Rahman ki do ungliyon ke beech mein hai, chahe to usko seedha rakhe aur chahe to usko terha kar de. Aur Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ye dua manga karte the. Aye dilon ke phirne wale! Dil ko apne deen par qaim rakh aur Meezan Rahman ke hath mein hai, jin qaumon ko chahta hai, buland kar deta hai aur jin ko chahta hai jhuka deta hai, qayamat tak. ** Ye hadees Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin ise Sahihain mein naqal nahin kya gaya. Aur Sanad Sahih ke hamrah mazkoorah hadees ki aik shahid hadees bhi mojood hai jo keh Hazrat Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ( Shahid hadees darj zel hai ).
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْأَصَمُّ، ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيَّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّوَّاسَ بْنَ سَمْعَانٍ الْكِلَابِيَّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَا مِنْ قَلْبٍ إِلَّا بَيْنَ أُصْبُعَيْنِ مِنْ أَصَابِعِ الرَّحْمَنِ إِنْ شَاءَ أَقَامَهُ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ أَزَاغَهُ» وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكِ، وَالْمِيزَانُ بِيَدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، يَرْفَعُ أَقْوَامًا، وَيَخْفِضُ آخَرِينَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ " وَلَهُ شَاهِدٌ بِإِسْنَادٍ صَحِيحٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
