Mustadrak Al Hakim 2545
Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates, on the day of the Battle of Hunayn when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) encountered the polytheists, he dismounted from his mule and fought on foot. ** This hadith is sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of both Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him), however, it is not narrated by either of them. The Holy Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) walking and fighting on foot is proven from this hadith.
حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں ، جنگِ حنین کے دن جب نبی اکرم ﷺ کی مشرکین سے مڈبھیڑ ہوئی تو آپ ﷺ اپنے خچر سے اُتر کر پیدل ہو گئے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ دونوں کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن دونوں نے ہی اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ کا چلنا اور پیدل جنگ کرنا اسی حدیث سے ثابت ہے ۔
Hazrat Bara RA bayan karte hain, jang e Hunain ke din jab Nabi Akram SAW ki mushrikeen se mudbhedar hui to aap SAW apne kachar se utr kar paidal ho gaye. ** Ye hadees Imam Bukhari RA aur Imam Muslim RA donon ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin donon ne hi ise naqal nahin kiya. Rasulullah SAW ka chalna aur paidal jang karna isi hadees se sabit hai.
حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى، ثنا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ قَطَنٍ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: لَمَّا لَقِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ «نَزَلَ عَنْ بَغْلَتِهِ فَتَرَجَّلَ» صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ «وَلَمْ يَصِحَّ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَرَجَّلَ وَحَارَبَ رَاجِلًا إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 2545 - على شرط البخاري ومسلم
