Hammad bin Zaid said: I asked Ayyub: Do you know of anyone who supported Hasan's position regarding the matter of delegating divorce to a woman, that it constitutes three divorces? Ayyub replied: No. However, Qatadah narrated a similar statement from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) through Abdur Rahman bin Samurah, on the authority of Allamah Kathir, through Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah. Ayyub said: Kathir came to us, so we asked him about this narration, and he said: I never narrated this hadith. I mentioned this matter to Qatadah, and he said: Why not (he did narrate this hadith), but he has forgotten. ** This hadith is Sahih Gharib, with the chain of narration of Ayyub Sakhtiyani. Moreover, I have mentioned a group of trustworthy companions and Taabi'een narrators who narrated hadiths and later forgot them, regarding the topic of marriage without a wali.
حماد بن زید فرماتے ہیں : میں نے ایوب سے پوچھا : تم کسی ایسے شخص کو جانتے ہو جس نے طلاق کا معاملہ عورت کے سپرد کرنے کے متعلق حسن کے اس موقف کی تائید کی ہو کہ یہ تین طلاقیں ہیں ؟ تو ایوب نے کہا : نہیں ۔ تاہم اس سلسلے میں قتادہ نے عبدالرحمن بن سمرہ کے علام کثیر کے ذریعے ابوسلمہ کے واسطے سے ابوہریرہ کے حوالے سے نبی اکرم کا اس جیسا ایک فرمان سنایا ۔ ایوب فرماتے ہیں : ہمارے پاس کثیر آئے تو ہم نے ان سے اس روایت کے متعلق پوچھا تو وہ بولے : میں نے تو یہ حدیث کبھی بیان ہی نہیں کی ۔ میں نے یہ بات قتادہ سے ذکر کی تو وہ بولے : کیوں نہیں ( انہوں نے یہ حدیث بیان کی ہے ) لیکن وہ بھول چکے ہیں ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث ایوب سختیانی کی سند کے ہمراہ غریب صحیح ہے جبکہ میں نے بغیر ولی کے نکاح کے موضوع پر ثقہ صحابہ کرام اور تابعین محدثین کی ایک جماعت کا ذکر کیا ہے جنہوں نے حدیث بیان کی اور بعد میں بھول گئے ۔

To Ayub ne kaha : nahi . Taham is silsile mein Qatada ne Abdul Rahman bin Samrah ke Alqama kaseer ke zariye Abu Salma ke vasite se Abu Hurairah ke hawale se Nabi Akram ka is jaisa ek farman sunaya . Ayub farmate hain : hamare paas kaseer aaye to hum ne un se is riwayat ke mutalliq poocha to wo bole : maine to ye hadees kabhi bayan hi nahi ki . Maine ye baat Qatada se zikar ki to wo bole : kyon nahi ( unhon ne ye hadees bayan ki hai ) lekin wo bhool chuke hain . ** ye hadees Ayub Sakhtyani ki sanad ke hamra gareeb sahih hai jabke maine baghair wali ke nikah ke mauzu par saqah Sahaba kiram aur tabayeen muhaddiseen ki ek jamaat ka zikar kiya hai jinhon ne hadees bayan ki aur baad mein bhool gaye .
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَيُّوبَ: هَلْ تَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا يَقُولُ بِقَوْلِ الْحَسَنِ فِي أَمْرِكَ بِيَدِكِ، أَنَّهُ ثَلَاثٌ؟ فَقَالَ: لَا، إِلَّا شَيْءٌ حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ كَثِيرٍ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنَحْوِهِ، قَالَ أَيُّوبُ: فَقَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا كَثِيرٌ، فَسَأَلَهُ فَقَالَ: مَا حَدَّثْتُ بِهَذَا قَطُّ. فَذَكَرْتُهُ لِقَتَادَةَ فَقَالَ: «بَلَى، وَلَكِنْ قَدْ نَسِيَ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ صَحِيحٌ، مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَيُّوبَ السَّخْتِيَانِيِّ، وَقَدْ ذَكَرْتُ فِي بَابِ النِّكَاحِ بِغَيْرِ وَلِيٍّ أَسَامِي جَمَاعَةٍ مِنْ ثِقَاتِ الْمُحَدِّثِينَ، مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ، وَالتَّابِعِينَ، وَأَتْبَاعِهِمْ حَدَّثُوا بِالْحَدِيثِ ثُمَّ نَسُوهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 2824 - صحيح غريب
