Mustadrak Al Hakim 3064
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said about the verse: "So turn your face towards the Masjid Al-Haram (the Sacred Mosque)" (Al-Baqarah: 144) - “Now turn your face towards Masjid Al-Haram" (Translation Kanz-ul-Imaan, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan). (He said regarding the word ‘Shatr’ used in the verse) it means ‘towards’. ** This Hadith is Sahih (authentic) in its chain of narration, however, Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) have not narrated it.
" حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ ( اللہ تعالیٰ کے ارشاد ) :’’ فَوَلِّ وَجْھَکَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ ‘‘ ( البقرۃ : 144 ) ’’ ابھی اپنا چہرہ پھیر دو مسجد حرام کی طرف ‘‘۔ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ ) ( کے متعلق فرماتے ہیں اس میں شطر سے مراد ) اس کی ’’ جانب ‘‘ ہے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ( Allah Taala Ke Irshad ): " Fawalli Waj'haka Shatr-al-Masjid-il-Haram " ( Al-Baqarah : 144 ) " Abhi Apna Chehra Phair Do Masjid Haram Ki Taraf ". ( Tarjuma Kanz-ul-Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Rahmatullah Alaih ) ( Ke Mutalliq Farmaty Hain Is Mein Shatr Se Murad ) Is Ki " Janib " Hai. ** Yeh Hadees Sahih-ul-Asnad Hai Lekin Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih Aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih Ne Ise Naqal Nahin Kiya.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْكِنْدِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، {فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ} [البقرة: 144] قَالَ: "" شَطْرُهُ: قِبَلُهُ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 3064 - صحيح
