Mustadrak Al Hakim 3149
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said regarding the statement of Allah Almighty: “Except those you have reason to fear (from among them)” (Al-Imran: 28) – “Unless you fear treachery from them” (Translation Kanzul Iman, Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi) – Tuqah means, “That your tongue speaks (to them) and your heart is certain on Iman.” Therefore, we will not raise our hands to kill, nor towards sin, because there is no justification for it. ** This Hadith is Sahih in its chain of narration, however, Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) have not narrated it.
" حضرت ( عبداللہ ) بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما اللہ تعالیٰ کے ارشاد : اِلَّا اَنْ تَتَّقُوْا مِنْھُمْ تُقٰاۃ ( آل عمران : 28 ) ’’ مگر یہ کہ تم ان سے کچھ ڈرو ‘‘۔ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ ) کے متعلق فرماتے ہیں : تقاۃ کا مطلب یہ ہے ’’ زبان سے کلام کرنا اور دل ایمان پر مطمئن ہو ‘‘ ، لہٰذا ہم قتل کرنے کے لیے اپنا ہاتھ نہیں اٹھائیں گے ، اور نہ ہی گناہ کی طرف ، کیونکہ اس کا کوئی عذر نہیں ہے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"

( Tarjuma Kanzul Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Rahmatullah Alaih) Ke Mutaliq Farmaatay Hain : Tuqatan Ka Matlab Ye Hai '' Zuban Se Kalm Karna Aur Dil Iman Par Mutma'in Ho '', Lihaza Hum Qatal Karne Ke Liye Apna Hath Nahi Uthayen Gay, Aur Na Hi Gunah Ki Taraf, Kyunke Iska Koi Uzar Nahi Hai. ** Ye Hadees Sahih Al Asnad Hai Lekin Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih Aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih Ne Isay Naqal Nahi Kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا أَبُو هَمَّامٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ سَعِيدٍ، يَذْكُرُ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، "" {إِلَّا أَنْ تَتَّقُوا مِنْهُمْ تُقَاةً} [آل عمران: 28] قَالَ: التُّقَاةُ التَّكَلُّمُ بِاللِّسَانِ وَالْقَلْبُ مُطْمَئِنٌّ بِالْإِيمَانِ، فَلَا يَبْسُطُ يَدَهُ فَيَقْتُلُ، وَلَا إِلَى إِثْمٍ فَإِنَّهُ لَا عُذْرَ لَهُ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 3149 - على شرط البخاري ومسلم
