Mustadrak Al Hakim 363
Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: After the passing of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), I said to an Ansar companion (may Allah be pleased with him), "Today, there are many companions of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) present. Let's go and ask them some questions about religion." He replied, "O Ibn Abbas! I am surprised at you. What makes you think that people will need you (in matters of religion) when there are so many other companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) present?" (Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) says), "I left him and started asking the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about the hadiths of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). If I came to know that a companion had a hadith of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), I would go to his door and sit there, using my cloak as a cushion. Dust would blow onto me because of the wind (until he came out of his house at his own convenience). Seeing me at the door, he would say, 'O nephew of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Why have you come here? You could have just ordered me and I would have presented myself at your service.' (Ibn Abbas says), "I would say to him, 'No, it was more befitting for me to come to you.' Then I would ask him about the hadith." That Ansar companion (may Allah be pleased with him) also lived for a long time after that. He would see people gathered around me, seeking religious knowledge. Seeing this, he would say, "This young man is more intelligent than me."
" حضرت ( عبداللہ ) ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں : رسول اللہ ﷺ کے وصال کے بعد ، میں نے ایک انصاری صحابی رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا : آج تو رسول پاک ﷺ کے صحابی کثیر تعداد میں موجود ہیں ، میرے ساتھ چلو ، ان سے دین کے متعلق کچھ پوچھ لیتے ہیں اس نے جواب دیا : اے ابن عباس ! تیرے اوپر بڑا تعجب ہے ، تیرا کیا خیال ہے ؟ ( دین کے معاملہ میں ) لوگ تیرے محتاج ہونگے ، حالانکہ لوگوں میں اور بھی بہت سارے صحابی رسول موجود ہیں ( ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہ ) کہتے ہیں : میں نے اسے چھوڑا اور خود ہی اصحاب رسول سے ، رسول پاک ﷺ کی احادیث پوچھنا شروع کر دیں ، مجھے کسی صحابی کے بارے میں پتا چلتا کہ اس کے پاس رسول پاک ﷺ کی کوئی حدیث موجود ہے تو میں اس کے دروازے پر جا کر ، اپنی چادر کا تکیہ بنا کر بیٹھا رہتا ۔ ہواؤں کی وجہ سے گرد و غبار اڑ کر میرے اوپر پڑتی رہتی ( پھر جب وہ اپنی مرضی سے ) گھر سے باہر نکلتا تو مجھے دروازے پر دیکھ کر کہتا : اے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے بھتیجے ! تم یہاں کیوں چلے آئے ؟ آپ مجھے حکم کرتے ، میں خود آپ کے دردولت پر حاضر ہو جاتا ( ابن عباس کہتے ہیں ) میں اس سے کہتا : نہیں ۔ میرا آپ کے پاس آنے کا زیادہ حق بنتا تھا ، پھر میں اس سے حدیث پوچھتا ۔ وہ انصاری صحابی رضی اللہ عنہ بھی بعد میں کافی عرصے تک زندہ رہا ، وہ دیکھا کرتا کہ لوگ میرے اردگرد جمع ہوتے اور دین کے متعلق مسائل دریافت کرتے ہیں تو وہ شخص یہ دیکھ کر کہا کرتا تھا : یہ نوجوان مجھ سے زیادہ عقل مند ہے ۔
Hazrat (Abdullah) Ibn Abbas Radi Allaho Anho Farmaty Hain: Rasool Allah ﷺ Ke Wisal Ke Baad, Main Ne Ek Ansaari Sahabi Radi Allaho Anho Se Kaha: Aaj To Rasool Pak ﷺ Ke Sahabi Kaseer Tadad Main Mojood Hain, Mere Sath Chalo, Un Se Deen Ke Mutaliq Kuch Poochh Lete Hain. Usne Jawab Diya: Aye Ibn Abbas! Tere Upar Bara Taajub Hai, Tera Kya Khayal Hai? (Deen Ke Mamle Main) Log Tere Mohtaj Honge, Halaanke Logon Main Aur Bhi Bahut Sare Sahabi Rasool Mojood Hain. (Ibn Abbas Radi Allaho Anho) Kehte Hain: Main Ne Use Chhora Aur Khud Hi Ashab Rasool Se, Rasool Pak ﷺ Ki Ahadees Poochhna Shuru Kar Din. Mujhe Kisi Sahabi Ke Bare Main Pata Chalta Ke Uske Pass Rasool Pak ﷺ Ki Koi Hadees Mojood Hai To Main Uske Darwaze Par Ja Kar, Apni Chadar Ka Takiya Bana Kar Betha Rehta. Hawaon Ki Wajah Se Gard o Ghubaar Urr Kar Mere Upar Parti Rehti (Phir Jab Woh Apni Marzi Se) Ghar Se Bahar Nikalta To Mujhe Darwaze Par Dekh Kar Kehta: Aye Rasool Allah ﷺ Ke Bhatije! Tum Yahan Kyon Chale Aaye? Aap Mujhe Hukm Karte, Main Khud Aap Ke Darwaze Par Hazir Ho Jata. (Ibn Abbas Kehte Hain) Main Us Se Kehta: Nahin. Mera Aap Ke Pass Aane Ka Zyada Haq Banta Tha, Phir Main Us Se Hadees Poochhta. Woh Ansaari Sahabi Radi Allaho Anho Bhi Baad Main Kafi Arse Tak Zinda Raha, Woh Dekha Karta Ke Log Mere Ird Gird Jama Hote Aur Deen Ke Mutaliq Masail Daryaft Karte Hain To Woh Shakhs Yeh Dekh Kar Kehta Tha: Yeh Naujawan Mujh Se Zyada Aql Mand Hai.
حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَاضِي، بِمَرْوَ، ثنا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَ جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: "" لَمَّا قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُلْتُ لِرَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ: هَلُمَّ فَلْنَسْأَلْ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَإِنَّهُمُ الْيَوْمَ كَثِيرٌ ""، فَقَالَ: وَاعَجَبًا لَكَ يَا ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، أَتَرَى النَّاسَ يَفْتَقِرُونَ إِلَيْكَ وَفِي النَّاسِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ فِيهِمْ، قَالَ: «فَتَرَكْتُ ذَاكَ وَأَقْبَلْتُ أَسْأَلُ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَإِنْ كَانَ يَبْلُغُنِي الْحَدِيثُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ فَآتِي بَابَهُ وَهُوَ قَائِلٌ فَأَتَوَسَّدُ رِدَائِي عَلَى بَابِهِ يَسْفِي الرِّيحُ عَلَيَّ مِنَ التُّرَابِ فَيَخْرُجُ فَيَرَانِي» فَيَقُولُ: يَا ابْنَ عَمِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا جَاءَ بِكَ؟ هَلَّا أَرْسَلْتَ إِلَيَّ فَآتِيَكَ؟، فَأَقُولُ: «لَا، أَنَا أَحَقُّ أَنْ آتِيَكَ» ، قَالَ: فَأَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ الْحَدِيثِ، فَعَاشَ هَذَا الرَّجُلُ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ حَتَّى رَآنِي وَقَدِ اجْتَمَعَ النَّاسُ حَوْلِي يَسْأَلُونِي، فَيَقُولُ: «هَذَا الْفَتَى كَانَ أَعْقَلَ مِنِّي» . «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الْبُخَارِيِّ وَهُوَ أَصْلٌ فِي طَلَبِ الْحَدِيثِ وَتَوْقِيرِ الْمُحَدِّثِ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 363 - على شرط البخاري
