Explanation of Surah Al-Qalam
تفسير سورة سبإ
Mustadrak Al Hakim 3854
Saeed bin Jubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said regarding Allah's saying: "An asker asked for a punishment, bound to befall upon the disbelievers, which none can avert, from Allah, the Lord of Ascents." (Al-Ma'arij: 1, 2, 3) "A beggar asked for the punishment which will befall the disbelievers, which none can repel, it will be from Allah, the Possessor of ascents, meaning the One with ranks." (Translation: Kanz al-Iman, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan, may Allah have mercy on him) (He said that the 'asker' mentioned in the verse) is Nadr bin Harith bin Kalada (may Allah be pleased with him). He said: “O Allah! If this (the Quran) is the truth from You, then rain down stones upon us from the sky.” ** This Hadith is Sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on them) but both of them did not narrate it.
" حضرت سعید بن جبیر رضی اللہ عنہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے ارشاد : سَاَلَ سَآئِلٌ بِعَذَابٍ وَّاقِعٍ لِّلْکٰفِرینَ لَیْسَ لَہٗ دَافِعٌ مِّنَ اللّٰہِ ذِی الْمَعَارِجِ ( المعارج : 1 ، 2 ، 3 ) ’’ ایک مانگنے والا وہ عذاب مانگتا ہے ، جو کافروں پر ہونے والا ہے ، اس کا کوئی ٹالنے والا نہیں ، وہ ہو گا اللہ کی طرف سے جو بلندیوں کا مالک ہے یعنی درجات والا ہے ۔‘‘ ( ترجمہ کنزالایمان ، امام احمد رضا رحمۃ اللہ علیہ ) کے متعلق فرماتے ہیں ( وہ سائل ) نضر بن حارث بن کلدہ رضی اللہ عنہ ہے ۔ اس نے کہا تھا : اے اللہ ! اگر یہ تیری طرف سے حق ہے تو ہم پر آسمان سے پتھر برسا ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair Raziallahu Anhu Allah Ta'ala ke Irshad: Saalasaa'ilun Bi'azabin Waqi'lil Kaafireen Laisa Lahu Daafi'umminallaah Zil Ma'aarij (Al Ma'aarij: 1, 2, 3) '' Ek mangne wala woh azab mangta hai, jo kafiro'n par hone wala hai, is ka koi taalne wala nahi'n, woh ho ga Allah ki taraf se jo bulandiyo'n ka malik hai yani darjaat wala hai.'' (Tarjuma Kanzul Imaan, Imam Ahmad Raza Rahmatullah Alaih) ke mutalliq farmate hain (woh sa'il) Nadr bin Haris bin Kalada Raziallahu Anhu hai. Is ne kaha tha: Aye Allah! Agar yeh teri taraf se haq hai to hum par aasman se pathar barsa. ** Yeh hadees Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheikhain Rahmatullah Alaihema ne ise naql nahi'n kiya.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ الْغِفَارِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، {سَأَلَ سَائِلٌ بِعَذَابٍ وَاقِعٍ لِلْكَافِرِينَ لَيْسَ لَهُ دَافِعٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ ذِي الْمَعَارِجِ} [المعارج: 2] ذِي الدَّرَجَاتِ {سَأَلَ سَائِلٌ} [المعارج: 1] قَالَ: هُوَ النَّضْرُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ كَلَدَةَ قَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كَانَ هَذَا هُوَ الْحَقَّ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ، فَأَمْطِرْ عَلَيْنَا حِجَارَةً مِنَ السَّمَاءِ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 3854 - على شرط البخاري
