Mustadrak Al Hakim 4193
Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Whenever I would greet the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he would respond, and his face would be radiant. And when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was pleased, his blessed face would shine like the moon on the fourteenth night, and this was also a sign of his. ** This hadith is sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him), but the two Sheikhs (may Allah have mercy on them) did not narrate it. However, the two Sheikhs (may Allah have mercy on them) have narrated similar hadiths, but the wording is not the same.
" حضرت کعب بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : میں جب بھی رسول اللہ ﷺ کو سلام کہتا تو آپ جواب دیتے تو آپ کا چہرہ چمک رہا ہوتا تھا اور رسول اللہ ﷺ جب خوش ہوتے تھے تو آپ کا چہرہ مبارک چودھویں رات کے چاند کی طرح چمکتا ہوتا تھا اور یہی آپ کی پہچان بھی تھی ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔ تاہم شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اس طرح کی احادیث نقل کی ہے لیکن الفاظ یہ نہیں ہیں ۔"
Hazrat Kaab bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain : mein jab bhi Rasul Allah ﷺ ko salam kehta to aap jawab dete to aap ka chehra chamak raha hota tha aur Rasul Allah ﷺ jab khush hote the to aap ka chehra mubarak chaudhvin raat ke chand ki tarah chamakta hota tha aur yahi aap ki pahchan bhi thi . ** Yeh hadees Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Shaikhain Rahmatullah Alaihima ne ise naqal nahin kiya . Taham Shaikhain Rahmatullah Alaihima ne is tarah ki ahadees naqal ki hai lekin alfaaz yeh nahin hain .
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أَنْبَأَ عُبَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، ثنا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عَقِيلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ كَعْبَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ: «لَمَّا سَلَّمْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ وَهُوَ يَبْرُقُ وَجْهُهُ، وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سُرَّ اسْتَنَارَ وَجْهُهُ كَأَنَّهُ قِطْعَةُ قَمَرٍ وَكَانَ يُعْرَفُ ذَلِكَ مِنْهُ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ وَقَدْ أَخْرَجَا وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَا هَذِهِ اللَّفْظَةَ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4193 - على شرط البخاري ومسلم
