Mustadrak Al Hakim 4196
Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to only smile. His shins were thin. Whenever I saw him, I used to think that he had applied kohl (surma), even though he had not applied it. ** This hadith is sahih (authentic) in its chain of narration, but Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) did not narrate it.
" حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : رسول اللہ ﷺ صرف تبسم فرمایا کرتے تھے ۔ آپ کی پنڈلیاں باریک تھیں ۔ میں جب بھی آپ کو دیکھتا تو میں سمجھتا کہ آپ نے سرمہ لگایا ہوا ہے حالانکہ آپ نے سرمہ نہ لگایا ہوا ہوتا تھا ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اسے نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Jabir bin Samrah RA farmate hain : Rasool Allah SAW sirf tabassum farmaya karte thay . Aap ki pindliyan bareek thin . Main jab bhi aap ko dekhta to main samjhta tha ke aap ne surma lagaya hua hai halanke aap ne surma na lagaya hua hota tha . ** Yeh hadees sahih al-isnad hai lekin Imam Bukhari RA aur Imam Muslim RA ne ise naqal nahin kya .
أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَحْمَسِيُّ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، ثنا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ، ثنا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَضْحَكُ إِلَّا تَبَسُّمًا وَكَانَ فِي سَاقَيْهِ حُمُوشَةٌ» ، وَكُنْتُ إِذَا نَظَرْتُ إِلَيْهِ قُلْتُ: «أَكْحَلُ الْعَيْنَيْنِ وَلَيْسَ بِأَكْحَلَ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4196 - حجاج لين الحديث
