Mustadrak Al Hakim 4426

Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is ahead of all. Then Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) is second, and then Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) is third. Then we were beset by trials, and Allah forgives whom He wills." ** This hadith is sahih al-isnad, but the two Sheikhs (rahimahum Allah) did not narrate it.

" حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : رسول اللہ ﷺ سب سے آگے ہیں ۔ دوسرے نمبر پر حضرت ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ اور تیسرے نمبر پر حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ ہیں ۔ پھر ہمیں فتنوں نے آ گھیرا ، اور اللہ تعالیٰ جسے چاہے معاف فرما دیتا ہے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"

Hazrat Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain : Rasul Allah SAW sab se aage hain . Dusre number par Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aur teesre number par Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) hain . Phir hamen fitnon ne aa ghira , aur Allah Ta'ala jise chahe maaf farma deta hai . ** Yeh hadees sahih al-isnad hai lekin شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما ne is ko naqal nahin kiya .

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرِو عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ السَّمَّاكِ، بِبَغْدَادَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزِّبْرِقَانِ، ثنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقَطِيعِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ الْحَارِثِيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ: «سَبَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَثَنَّى أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَثَلَّثَ عُمَرُ، ثُمَّ خَطَبَتْنَا فِتْنَةٌ، وَيَعْفُو اللَّهُ عَمَّنْ يَشَاءُ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4426 - صحيح
