Mustadrak Al Hakim 4437
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Did any of you see a dream?" A man said: "I saw that a balance descended from the sky, and in it, you and Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) were weighed, and you were heavier than Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). Then Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) were weighed, and Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was heavier. Then Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) were weighed, and Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was heavier. Then the balance was raised up. So we saw signs of disapproval on the blessed face of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). ** This hadith is sahih according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) but the two Shaykhs (may Allah have mercy on them both) did not narrate it. The hadith narrated by Saeed bin Jumhan from Safinah (may Allah be pleased with him) (mentioned below) is a witness to the aforementioned hadith.
" حضرت ابوبکرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : تم میں سے کسی نے کوئی خواب دیکھا ہے ؟ تو ایک آدمی نے کہا : میں نے دیکھا ہے کہ کوئی ترازو آسمان سے اترا ہے ، اس میں آپ نے اپنا اور حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کا وزن کیا ، تو آپ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ سے وزنی رہے ۔ پھر ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ اور عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کا وزن کیا تو ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ وزنی رہے ۔ پھر عمر رضی اللہ عنہ اور عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ کا وزن کیا تو عمر رضی اللہ عنہ وزنی رہے ۔ پھر ترازو اوپر اٹھا لیا گیا ۔ تو ہم نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے چہرہ اقدس پر ناپسندیدگی کے آثار دیکھے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔ سعید بن جمہان کی حضرت سفینہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کردہ ( درج ذیل ) حدیث مذکورہ حدیث کی شاہد ہے ۔"
Hazrat Abu Bakr RA se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah SAW ne farmaya: Tum mein se kisi ne koi khwab dekha hai? To ek aadmi ne kaha: Maine dekha hai ki koi tarazu aasman se utara hai, is mein aap ne apna aur Hazrat Abu Bakr RA ka wazan kiya, to aap Abu Bakr RA se wazni rahe. Phir Abu Bakr RA aur Umar RA ka wazan kiya to Abu Bakr RA wazni rahe. Phir Umar RA aur Usman RA ka wazan kiya to Umar RA wazni rahe. Phir tarazu upar utha liya gaya. To hum ne Rasul Allah SAW ke chehre aqdas par napasandeedagi ke aasar dekhe. ** Ye hadees Imam Bukhari RA aur Imam Muslim RA ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheikhain RA ne isko naqal nahin kiya. Saeed bin Jumahan ki Hazrat Safiyyah RA se riwayat kardah (darj zail) hadees mazkurah hadees ki shahid hai.
أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الْوَزِيرِ التَّاجِرُ، ثنا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، ثنا أَشْعَثُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْحُمْرَانِيُّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ رَأَى مِنْكُمْ رُؤْيَا؟» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: أَنَا رَأَيْتُ كَأَنَّ مِيزَانًا نَزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ، فَوُزِنْتَ أَنْتَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ فَرَجَحْتَ أَنْتَ بِأَبِي بَكْرٍ، وَوُزِنَ عُمَرُ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ فَرَجَحَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَوُزِنَ عُمَرُ وَعُثْمَانُ فَرَجَحَ عُمَرُ، ثُمَّ رُفِعَ الْمِيزَانُ، فَرَأَيْنَا الْكَرَاهِيَةَ فِي وَجْهِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» ، وَشَاهِدَهُ حَدِيثُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُمْهَانَ، عَنْ سَفِينَةَ الَّذِي [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4437 - أشعث بن عبد الملك هذا ثقة لكن ما احتجا به
