بیان معرفة الصحابة الكرام رضوان الله علیهم
Incident of the acceptance of Islam by Amir al-Mu'minin, Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him)
قبول الإسلام حضرة علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه
Mustadrak Al Hakim 4581
"Qatadah narrated from Hasan (RA) that he said: 'Ali (RA) accepted Islam at the age of ten or sixteen.' ** This chain of narration is superior to the previous one; however, I have mentioned it first because my chain is excellent."
" قتادہ نے حضرت حسن رضی اللہ عنہ کا یہ بیان نقل کیا ہے کہ ’’ حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ دس سال یا سولہ سال کی عمر میں اسلام لائے ‘‘۔ ٭٭ یہ اسناد ، پہلی اسناد کی بہ نسبت اولیٰ ہے ، تاہم اس کو پہلے ذکر کیا ہے کیونکہ وہ میری سند عالی ہے ۔"
Qatada ne Hazrat Hassan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ka ye bayan naqal kya hai keh ''Hazrat Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) das sal ya solah sal ki umar mein Islam laye'' ** Ye asnaad, pehli asnaad ki ba nisbat ula hai, taham is ko pehle zikr kya hai kyunkay woh meri sanad aali hai.
أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي، وَأَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ الْحَافِظُ، قَالَا: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الثَّقَفِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنْبَأَ مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ: «أَسْلَمَ عَلِيٌّ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَشْرٍ أَوِ ابْنُ سِتَّ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً» هَذَا الْإِسْنَادُ أَوْلَى مِنَ الْأَوَّلِ، وَإِنَّمَا قَدَّمْتُ ذَلِكَ لِأَنِّي عَلَوْتُ فِيهِ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4581 - سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
