Incident of the acceptance of Islam by Amir al-Mu'minin, Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him)
قبول الإسلام حضرة علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه
Mustadrak Al Hakim 4582
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) had four unique qualities that no one else possessed: 1. He was the first among all Arabs and non-Arabs to pray with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). 2. He was the one who carried the standard (flag) in every battle. 3. He was the one who stayed with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) on the Day of the Trench (Khandaq). 4. He was the one who bathed the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and lowered him into the grave.
" حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں : حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ میں چار خصوصیات ہیں جو کسی دوسرے میں نہیں پائی جاتیں ( 1 ) تمام عرب و عجم میں یہ شخص ہیں جنہوں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ہمراہ سب سے پہلے نماز پڑھی ۔ ( 2 ) ہر جنگ میں جھنڈا ( لواء ) انہی کے پاس رہا ۔ ( 3 ) مہر اس کے دن انہوں نے ہی رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ہمراہ صبر کیا ۔ ( 4 ) یہی وہ شخص ہیں جنہوں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو غسل دیا اور لحد میں اتارا تھا ۔"
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a farmate hain : Hazrat Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) mein chaar khususiyat hain jo kisi dusre mein nahi pai jati ( 1 ) Tamam Arab o Ajam mein ye shakhs hain jinhone Rasool Allah SAW ke hamrah sab se pehle namaz parhi . ( 2 ) Har jang mein jhanda ( liwa ) inhi ke pass raha . ( 3 ) Mehr as ke din inhone hi Rasool Allah SAW ke hamrah sabar kiya . ( 4 ) Yahi wo shakhs hain jinhone Rasool Allah SAW ko ghusl diya aur lahad mein utara tha .
حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَمْرٍو مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ الزَّاهِدُ صَاحِبُ ثَعْلَبَ إِمْلَاءً بِبَغْدَادَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى الْمِصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: "" لِعَلِيٍّ أَرْبَعُ خِصَالٍ لَيْسَتْ لِأَحَدٍ: هُوَ أَوَّلُ عَرَبِيٍّ وَأَعْجَمِيٍّ صَلَّى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَهُوَ الَّذِي كَانَ لِوَاؤُهُ مَعَهُ فِي كُلِّ زَحْفٍ، وَالَّذِي صَبَرَ مَعَهُ يَوْمَ الْمِهْرَاسِ، وَهُوَ الَّذِي غَسَّلَهُ وَأَدْخَلَهُ قَبْرَهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 4582 - فيه زكريا بن يحيى الوقار وهو متهم
