Mustadrak Al Hakim 4583
It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that on the day of the Battle of Badr, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave the flag to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). At that time, Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was 20 years old. ** This hadith is sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him), but the two Sheikhs (may Allah have mercy on them both) did not narrate it.
" حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ جنگ بدر کے دن رسول اللہ ﷺ نے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کو جھنڈا عطا فرمایا تھا ، اس وقت حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کی عمر 20 سال تھی ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas raza Allah anhuma se marvi hai ke jang Badar ke din Rasul Allah ﷺ ne Hazrat Ali raza Allah anhu ko jhanda ata farmaya tha, us waqt Hazrat Ali raza Allah anhu ki umar 20 saal thi. ** Yeh hadees Imam Bukhari rehmatullah alaih aur Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheikhain rehmatullah alaihima ne is ko naqal nahin kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ السُّكَّرِيُّ، ثنا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ الْعُرَنِيُّ، ثنا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُتَيْبَةَ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَفَعَ الرَّايَةَ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ، وَهُوَ ابْنُ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "
