Virtues of Hazrat Bilal bin Rabah (may Allah be pleased with him), the caller to prayer of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, narrated by Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him)

Mustadrak Al Hakim 5238
Abdullah narrates: "The first people to accept Islam were seven. Among them, the Holy Prophet ﷺ was protected by his uncle, Abu Talib. Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was protected by his tribe. As for the rest, the polytheists seized them, bound them in iron chains, and exposed them to the scorching sun. Each one of them defended themselves to the best of their ability, except Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him). He presented himself as destitute before Allah and remained so in the sight of the people. The people entrusted him to the children who paraded him through the streets of Makkah. And Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) continued to cry out, ‘Ahad, Ahad! (The One, The One!)’ ** This Hadith has a sound chain of narration, but the Two Sheikhs (may Allah have mercy on them both) did not narrate it. **
" حضرت عبداللہ فرماتے ہیں : سب سے پہلے جن لوگوں نے اسلام ظاہر کیا وہ سات آدمی ہیں ۔ ان میں سے رسول اللہ ﷺ کا دفاع ان کے چچا ابوطالب نے کیا ۔ حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کا دفاع ان کی قوم نے کیا ۔ ان کے علاوہ جتنے بھی لوگ تھے ان کو مشرکین نے پکڑ کر لوہے کی زنجیروں میں جکڑ کر سخت دھوپ میں ڈال دیا ، ان میں سے ہر شخص نے اپنی ہمت کے مطابق اپنا دفاع کیا سوائے حضرت بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کے ، کہ انہوں نے اپنے آپ کو اللہ کی بارگاہ میں مسکین بنا لیا اور لوگوں کے سامنے بھی مسکین بن کر رہے ۔ لوگوں نے ان کو بچوں کے سپرد کر دیا وہ ان کو مکہ کی گلی کوچوں میں گھماتے رہتے ۔ اور حضرت بلال رضی اللہ عنہ ’’ احد ، احد ‘‘ کی صدائیں بلند کرتے رہتے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abdullah farmate hain : sab se pehle jin logon ne Islam zahir kya wo saat aadmi hain . In mein se Rasul Allah ﷺ ka difa un ke chacha Abu Talib ne kya . Hazrat Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ka difa un ki qaum ne kya . In ke ilawa jitne bhi log thay un ko mushrikeen ne pakar kar lohe ki zanjiron mein jakar kar sakht dhoop mein daal diya , in mein se har shakhs ne apni himmat ke mutabiq apna difa kya siwaye Hazrat Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke , keh unhon ne apne aap ko Allah ki bargah mein miskeen bana liya aur logon ke samne bhi miskeen ban kar rahe . Logon ne un ko bachon ke supurd kar diya wo un ko Makkah ki gali kuchon mein ghumate rehte . Aur Hazrat Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) '' Ahad , Ahad '' ki sadaen buland karte rehte . ** Yeh hadees sahih al-isnad hai lekin Sheikhain Rahmatullahi Alaihima ne is ko naqal nahin kya .
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَبُو الْبَخْتَرِيُّ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شَاكِرٍ، ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجُعْفِيُّ، ثنا زَائِدَةُ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: "" إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَظْهَرَ إِسْلَامَهُ سَبْعَةٌ: رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَنَعَهُ اللَّهُ بِعَمِّهِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، وَأَمَّا أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَمَنَعَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى بِقَوْمِهِ، وَأَمَّا سَائِرُهُمْ فَأَخَذَهُمُ الْمُشْرِكُونَ، فَأَلْبَسُوهُمْ أَدْرَاعَ الْحَدِيدِ وَأَوْقَفُوهُمْ فِي الشَّمْسِ، فَمَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا قَدْ آتَاهُمْ كُلَّمَا أَرَادُوا غَيْرَ بِلَالٍ، فَإِنَّهُ هَانَتْ عَلَيْهِ نَفْسُهُ فِي اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، وَهَانَ عَلَى قَوْمِهِ فَأَعْطُوهُ الْوِلْدَانَ فَجَعَلُوا يَطُوفُونَ بِهِ فِي شِعَابِ مَكَّةَ وَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ: أَحَدٌ أَحَدٌ «صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 5238 - صحيح
