شعبی کہتے ہیں : حضرت زبیر بن عوام رضی اللہ عنہ کی میراث چالیس لاکھ درہم تقسیم ہوئی ۔

أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى، وَأَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَا: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الثَّقَفِيُّ، ثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ: «قُسِّمَ مِيرَاثُ الزُّبَيْرِ عَلَى أَرْبَعِينَ أَلْفِ أَلْفِ دِرْهَمٍ»
