The mention of the martyrdom of Hazrat Zubair bin Awam (RA)

Hisham ibn Urwah narrates from his father that Atika bint Zayd ibn Amr ibn Nufayl al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with her) was the wife of Zubayr ibn al-Awwam (may Allah be pleased with him). When Zubayr's inheritance was distributed, his wife's share was 80,000 dirhams. Upon her husband's death, his wife Atika (may Allah be pleased with her) recited this elegy: * The son of Jurmuz betrayed the warrior who roars like an elephant on the day of encounter, although they were not ones to flee cowardly. * O Amr! If you had news of this matter, you would find him neither delaying nor trembling. * Your mother will weep for you, even if time has succeeded in martyring this knight in the past with its morning and evening plots. * In how many battlefields have you leaped, and your spear was not doubled, O son of a wild serpent!
" ہشام بن عروہ اپنے والد کا یہ بیان نقل کرتے ہیں کہ عاتکہ بنت زید بن عمرو بن نفیل الزبیر رضی اللہ عنہا حضرت زیبر رضی اللہ عنہ کی بیوی تھیں ، حضرت زبیر کی وراثت تقسیم ہوئی تو ان کی بیوی کے حصے میں 80 ہزار درہم آئے تھے ، اپنے شوہر کی وفات ان کی بیوی عاتکہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے یہ مرثیہ کہا تھا : * ابن جرموز نے ہاتھی کی طرح چنگھاڑنے والے شہسوار کو ملاقات کے دن دھوکہ دیا ہے ، حالانکہ وہ بزدلی کے ساتھ بھاگنے والے نہیں تھے ۔ * اے عمرو ! اگر تمہیں اس باب کی خبر ہو جائے تو تم اس کو پاؤ گے ایسی حالت میں کہ نہ وہ ٹال مٹول کرنے والے ہیں اور نہ ان پر کپکپی طاری ہوئی ۔ * تجھے تیری ماں روئے اگر تو زمانہ ماضی میں اس شہسوار کو شہید کرنے میں تو کامیاب ہو ہی گیا ہے صبح و شام کی سازشوں کے ساتھ ۔ * کتنے ہی میدانوں میں تو کودا ہے اور تیرا نیزا دوہرا نہیں ہوا اے جنگلی سانپ کے بچے ۔"
Hisham bin Urwah apne walid ka yeh bayan naqal karte hain keh Aatika bint Zaid bin Amr bin Nufail al-Zubair ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) Hazrat Zubair (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki biwi thin, Hazrat Zubair ki wirasat taqsim hui to un ki biwi ke hisse mein 80 hazar dirham aaye the, apne shohar ki wafat an ki biwi Aatika ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ne yeh marsiya kaha tha: * Ibn Jarmuz ne hathi ki tarah chinghargarane wale shahsawar ko mulaqat ke din dhoka diya hai, halanke woh buzdali ke sath bhagne wale nahin the. * Aye Amr! Agar tumhein is bab ki khabar ho jaye to tum us ko pao ge aisi halat mein keh na woh taal matol karne wale hain aur na un per kapkapi tari hui. * Tujhe teri maan roye agar tu zamana mazi mein is shahsawar ko shaheed karne mein to kamyab ho hi gaya hai subah o sham ki saazishon ke sath. * Kitne hi maidanon mein tu kooda hai aur tera neza dohera nahin hua aye jangli sanp ke bache.
أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو طَاهِرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْجُوَيْنِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ رَجَاءَ بْنِ السِّنْدِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: "" وَرِثَتْ عَاتِكَةُ بِنْتُ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ الزُّبَيْرَ، وَكَانَتْ زَوْجَتَهُ، فَبَلَغَ حِصَّتُهَا مِنَ الْمِيرَاثِ ثَمَانِينَ أَلْفَ دِرْهَمٍ، وَقَالَتْ تَرْثِيهِ: [البحر الكامل] غَدَرَ ابْنُ جُرْمُوزٍ بِفَارِسٍ نَهْمَةً ... يَوْمَ اللِّقَاءِ وَكَانَ غَيْرَ مُعَرِّدِ يَا عَمْرُو لَوْ نَبَّهْتَهُ لَوَجَدْتَهُ ... لَا طَائِشًا رَعْشَ الْبَنَانِ وَلَا الْيَدِ ثَكِلَتْكَ أُمُّكَ إِنْ ظَفِرْتَ بِفَارِسٍ ... فِيمَا مَضَى مِمَّا يَرُوحُ وَيَغْتَدِي كَمْ غَمْرَةٍ قَدْ خَاضَهَا لَمْ يُثْنِهِ عَنْهَا طِرَادُكَ يَا ابْنَ فَقْعِ الْفَدْفَدِ"" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 5582 - سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
