Mustadrak Al Hakim 6286
Ali bin Abdullah bin Abbas narrated this statement from his father ( Abdullah bin Abbas, may Allah be pleased with both of them). He ( Abdullah) said, "My father, Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), ordered me to spend the night with the family of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I went to the mosque and found the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) leading the people in the Isha prayer. (After finishing the prayer, everyone went to their homes) and no one remained in the mosque except the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Then, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by me and asked, 'Who is this?' I said, 'Abdullah bin Abbas.' He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked the reason for my presence, so I told him that my father had ordered me to spend the night with him. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took me along, and when we reached home, he said, 'Prepare a comfortable bed for Abdullah.' I was given a cushion filled with hair. Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) came to me to keep me awake so I could observe the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayer. Then, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came and slept. (He slept so soundly) that I heard the sound of his blessed snoring. Then, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) lay straight on his bed, raised his head towards the sky, and recited 'Subhan Allah-il malik-il Quddus' three times. Then, he recited from the end of Surah Al-Imran, starting from 'In fi khalaqis samawati wal ardi' till the end of the Surah. Then, he stood up and performed ablution. After that, he offered two rak'ahs of nafl prayer. These two rak'ahs were neither too short nor too long. The narrator says that then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered the prayer and after that, he offered Witr and supplicated, 'O Allah, illuminate my eyes, brighten my hearing, illuminate my tongue, fill my heart with light, illuminate my right, illuminate my left, illuminate what is in front of me, and illuminate what is behind me. And on the day when I meet You, grant me light on that day as well, and make it a great light for me.'" ** This hadith is Sahih according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him), but the Sheikhs did not narrate it. **
" علی بن عبداللہ بن عباس نے اپنے والد ( حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما ) کا یہ ارشاد نقل کیا ہے ( وہ فرماتے ہیں ) مجھے میرے والد حضرت عباس رضی اللہ عنہ نے حکم دیا ( ان کے حکم کے مطابق ) میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے گھر والوں کے پاس رات گزاری ، میں مسجد کی جانب گیا ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے لوگوں کو عشاء کی نماز پڑھائی ، ( نماز پڑھ کر سب لوگ اپنے اپنے گھروں کو چلے گئے ) رسول اللہ ﷺ کے علاوہ دوسرا کوئی شخص مسجد میں باقی نہ بچا تھا ۔ پھر حضور ﷺ میرے پاس سے گزرے ، آپ ﷺ نے پوچھا : یہ کون ہے ؟ میں نے کہا : عبداللہ بن عباس ۔ آپ ﷺ نے آنے کی وجہ پوچھی ، تو میں نے بتایا کہ میرے والد صاحب نے مجھے حکم دیا ہے کہ میں رات آپ کے پاس گزاروں ۔ آپ ﷺ مجھے ساتھ لے گئے ، جب گھر پہنچے تو حضور ﷺ نے فرمایا : عبداللہ کے لئے اچھا بستر بچھاؤ ، مجھے بالوں کی پوشش والا تکیہ دیا گیا ۔ حضرت عباس میرے پاس آ گئے تاکہ مجھے نیند نہ آئے اور میں نبی اکرم ﷺ کی نماز کی حفاظت کر سکوں ۔ پھر رسول اللہ ﷺ تشریف لائے اور سو گئے ، ( آپ اتنی گہری نیند سوئے تھے کہ ) میں نے آپ ﷺ کے مبارک خراٹوں کی آواز سنی ۔ پھر حضور ﷺ اپنے بستر پر دراز ہو گئے ، اپنا سر آسمان کی جانب اٹھا لیا اور تین مرتبہ ’’ سبحان اللہ الملک القدوس ‘‘ پڑھا ۔ پھر سورہ آل عمران کی آخری آیت ان فی خلق السموات والارض سے لے کر اختتام سورت تک پڑھا ، پھر آپ کھڑے ہوئے اور مسواک کی ۔ پھر وضو کیا ، پھر مسجد میں تشریف لائے ۔ پھر دو رکعت نوافل پڑھے ، یہ دونوں رکعتیں نہ بہت چھوٹی تھیں اور نہ زیادہ لمبی تھیں ۔ راوی کہتے ہیں ، پھر حضور ﷺ نے نماز پڑھی ، اس کے بعد وتر پڑھے ۔ اور یہ دعا مانگی ’’ اے اللہ ! میری آنکھوں میں نور کر دے ، میری سماعتوں کو روشن کر دے ، میری زبان کو نور کر دے ، میرے دل کو نور سے بھر دے ، میرے دائیں نور کر دے ، میرے بائیں نور کر دے ۔ میرے آگے نور کر دے اور میرے پیچھے نور کر دے ۔ اور جس دن میں تیری ملاقات کے لئے آؤں تو اس دن بھی مجھے نور عطا کر ۔ اور اس کو میرے لئے بہت بڑا نور کر دے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Ali bin Abdullah bin Abbas ne apne wald (Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a) ka yeh irshad naqal kiya hai (woh farmate hain) mujhe mere wald Hazrat Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne hukum diya (unke hukum ke mutabiq) maine Rasulullah ﷺ ke ghar walon ke paas raat guzari, main masjid ki jaanib gaya, Rasulullah ﷺ ne logon ko isha ki namaz padhayi, (namaz padh kar sab log apne apne gharon ko chale gaye) Rasulullah ﷺ ke ilawa dusra koi shakhs masjid mein baqi na bacha tha. Phir Huzoor ﷺ mere paas se guzre, Aap ﷺ ne poocha: yeh kaun hai? Maine kaha: Abdullah bin Abbas. Aap ﷺ ne aane ki wajah poochi, to maine bataya ke mere wald sahab ne mujhe hukum diya hai ke main raat aap ke paas guzaaroon. Aap ﷺ mujhe saath le gaye, jab ghar pahunche to Huzoor ﷺ ne farmaya: Abdullah ke liye achha bistar bichhao, mujhe baalon ki pushish wala takiya diya gaya. Hazrat Abbas mere paas aa gaye taake mujhe neend na aaye aur main Nabi Akram ﷺ ki namaz ki hifazat kar sakun. Phir Rasulullah ﷺ tashreef laaye aur so gaye, (aap itni gehri neend soye the ke) maine aap ﷺ ke mubarak kharaton ki aawaz suni. Phir Huzoor ﷺ apne bistar par deraz ho gaye, apna sar aasman ki jaanib utha liya aur teen martaba 'Subhan Allah-il-malik-il-quddus' padha. Phir Surah Al-Imran ki aakhri ayat 'In fi khalaq-is-samawati wal ardh' se lekar ikhtitam surat tak padha, phir aap kharay huye aur miswak ki. Phir wuzu kiya, phir masjid mein tashreef laaye. Phir do rakat nawafil padhe, yeh donon rakat na bahut chhoti thi aur na zyada lambi thin. Rawi kehte hain, phir Huzoor ﷺ ne namaz padhi, uske baad witr padhe. Aur yeh dua maangi 'Aye Allah! Meri aankhon mein noor kar de, meri samaaton ko roshan kar de, meri zaban ko noor kar de, mere dil ko noor se bhar de, mere daayein noor kar de, mere baayein noor kar de. Mere aage noor kar de aur mere peechhe noor kar de. Aur jis din main teri mulaqat ke liye aaon to us din bhi mujhe noor ata kar. Aur usko mere liye bahut bada noor kar de. ** Yeh hadees Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheikhain ne isko naqal nahin kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا الشَّيْخُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ يُونُسَ بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي الْمِنْهَالُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: أَمَرَنِي الْعَبَّاسُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: بِتُّ بِآلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةً، فَانْطَلَقْتُ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ، فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعِشَاءَ الْآخِرَةَ حَتَّى لَمْ يَبْقَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ أَحَدٌ غَيْرُهُ، قَالَ: ثُمَّ مَرَّ بِي، فَقَالَ: «مَنْ هَذَا؟» فَقُلْتُ: عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: «فَمَهْ» قُلْتُ: أَمَرَنِي أَبِي أَنْ أَبِيتَ بِكُمُ اللَّيْلَةَ، قَالَ: «فَالْحَقْ» فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ، قَالَ: «افْرِشُوا لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ» قَالَ: فَأُتِيتُ بِوِسَادَةٍ مِنْ مُسُوحٍ، قَالَ: وَتَقَدَّمَ إِلَيَّ الْعَبَّاسُ أَنْ لَا تَنَامَنَّ حَتَّى تَحْفَظَ صَلَاتَهُ، قَالَ: فَقَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَامَ حَتَّى سَمِعْتُ غَطِيطَهُ، قَالَ: ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَقَالَ: «سُبْحَانَ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوسِ» ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، ثُمَّ تَلَا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ آلِ عِمْرَانَ حَتَّى خَتَمَهَا {إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ} [البقرة: 164] ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَبَالَ، ثُمَّ اسْتَنَّ بِسِوَاكِهِ، ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ مُصَلَّاهُ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ لَيْسَتَا بِقَصِيرَتَيْنِ وَلَا طَوِيلَتَيْنِ، قَالَ: فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ أَوْتَرَ فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي بَصَرِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ فِي سَمْعِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ فِي لِسَانِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ عَنْ يَمِينِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ عَنْ شِمَالِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ أَمَامِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ خَلْفِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ فَوْقِي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ مِنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنِّي نُورًا، وَاجْعَلْ لِي يَوْمَ لِقَائِكَ نُورًا، وَأَعْظِمْ لِي نُورًا» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ، وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 6286 - على شرط البخاري ومسلم
