Masrouq says: Someone asked him: Did Umm al-Mu'minin Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) know the matters of inheritance well? He said: Yes, by the Being in whose possession my life is, I have seen many of the senior companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asking her about matters of inheritance.
حضرت مسروق کہتے ہیں : ان سے کسی نے پوچھا : کیا ام المومنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا وراثت کے مسائل صحیح طرح جانتی تھیں ؟ انہوں نے کہا : جی ہاں ، اس ذات کی قسم جس کے قبضہ قدرت میں میری جان ہے میں نے بڑے بڑے کبار صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم کو ان سے وراثت کے مسائل پوچھتے دیکھا ہے ۔
Hazrat Masrooq kehte hain: Unse kisi ne poocha: Kya Umm ul Momineen Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) wirasat ke masail sahih tarah janti thin? Unhon ne kaha: Jee haan, iss zaat ki qasam jis ke qabza qudrat mein meri jaan hai main ne bade bade kibar sahaba kiram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko unse wirasat ke masail poochte dekha hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، أَنَّهُ قِيلَ لَهُ: هَلْ كَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ تُحْسِنُ الْفَرَائِضَ؟ قَالَ: «إِي وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ مَشْيَخَةَ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْأَلُونَهَا عَنِ الْفَرَائِضِ»
