Mustadrak Al Hakim 7725
Issam bin Bashir narrates from his father that my people, Banu Al-Harith bin Ka'b, sent me to the Prophet ﷺ. When I reached the presence of the Prophet ﷺ, he welcomed me and asked my name. I said: "My name is Kathir." The Prophet ﷺ said: "Rather, you are Bashir." ** This hadith is sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim, but they did not narrate it. ** This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim did not narrate it.
" عصام بن بشیر اپنے والد کا یہ بیان نقل کرتے ہیں کہ میری قوم بنی الحارث بن کعب نے مجھے نبی اکرم ﷺ کی بارگاہ میں مجھے بھیجا ، جب میں حضور ﷺ کی خدمت میں پہنچا تو آپ ﷺ نے مجھے مرحبا کہا اور میرا نام پوچھا ، میں نے کہا : میرا نام ’’ کثیر ‘‘ ہے ۔ حضور ﷺ نے فرمایا : بلکہ تم ’’ بشیر ‘‘ ہو ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Issam bin Bashir apne walid ka yeh bayan naqal karte hain ke meri qaum Bani al Harith bin Kab ne mujhe Nabi Akram ﷺ ki bargah mein mujhe bheja, jab main Huzoor ﷺ ki khidmat mein pahuncha to aap ﷺ ne mujhe marhaba kaha aur mera naam poocha, maine kaha: mera naam ''Kasir'' hai. Huzoor ﷺ ne farmaya: balke tum ''Bashir'' ho. ** Yeh hadees Imam Bukhari rehmatullah alaih aur Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahih hai lekin Sheekhain rehmatullah alaihima ne isko naqal nahin kiya. ** Yeh hadees Sahih al-Isnad hai lekin Imam Bukhari rehmatullah alaih aur Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih ne isko naqal nahin kiya.
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَمْدَانَ الْجَلَّابُ، بِهَمْدَانَ، ثَنَا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ، ثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، قَالَ: أَوْفَدَنِي قَوْمِي بَنُو الْحَارِثِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا أَتَيْتُهُ قَالَ لِي: «مَرْحَبًا، مَا اسْمُكَ؟» قُلْتُ: كَثِيرٌ، قَالَ: «بَلْ أَنْتَ بَشِيرٌ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 7725 - صحيح
