Mustadrak Al Hakim 8495
Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There will come a time upon the people when a man will boast of his poverty as people boast of their wealth and children today." A man asked: "Which wealth will be best at that time?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: "Righteous weapons, and a strong horse that is loyal to its rider." **(This Hadith is Sahih (authentic) according to the criteria of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim, but it was not narrated by the two Sheikhs (Imam Abu Dawud and Imam An-Nasa'i)).**
" حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں : لوگوں پر ایسا وقت بھی آئے گا ، جب آدمی اپنی خفت حال پر ایسے فخر کرے گا جیسے آج لوگ اپنے مال اور اولاد پر فخر کرتے ہیں ۔ ایک آدمی نے کہا : اس وقت کون سا مال سب سے بہتر ہو گا ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا : درست اسلحہ ، اور ایسا زبردست گھوڑا جو اپنے سوار کے ساتھ وفاداری کرے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کے معیار کے مطابق صحیح ہے لیکن شیخین رحمۃ اللہ علیہما نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔"
Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood Raziallahu Anhu farmate hain : Logon per aisa waqt bhi aye ga, jab aadmi apni khiffat haal per aise fakhr kare ga jaise aaj log apne maal aur aulad per fakhr karte hain. Ek aadmi ne kaha : Iss waqt kon sa maal sab se behtar ho ga? Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Durust aslaha, aur aisa zabardast ghora jo apne sawar ke sath wafadari kare. ** Ye hadees Imam Bukhari rehmatullah alaih aur Imam Muslim rehmatullah alaih ke miyaar ke mutabiq sahi hai lekin Shaikhain rehmatullah alaihema ne iss ko naqal nahi kiya.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَرُومَةُ، ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزَّعْرَاءِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: «يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ يُغْبَطَ فِيهِ الرَّجُلُ بِخِفَّةِ حَالِهِ كَمَا يُغْبَطَ الرَّجُلُ الْيَوْمَ بِالْمَالِ وَالْوَلَدِ» قَالَ: فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ: أَيُّ الْمَالِ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَيْرٌ؟ قَالَ: «سِلَاحُ صَالِحٌ، وَفَرَسٌ صَالِحٌ يَزُولُ مَعَهُ أَيْنَمَا زَالَ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ، وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 8495 - على شرط البخاري ومسلم
