Mustadrak Al Hakim 8589
Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The grindstone of Islam will continue to grind for 35 years, or 36 years. If they (the Muslims) are destroyed, then they will be destroyed in the way of those who were destroyed before them, and if their religion (Islam) remains established, then it will remain established for seventy years." Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Messenger of Allah, does this (time period) include the time that has already passed?" He (the Prophet) replied: "What remains is (the actual duration)." ** This hadith has a sound chain of narration, but Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and Imam Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) did not include it in their books. There is a hadith whose chain of narration is absent from the three books (of Hadith), but it is very close to our topic, so I have included it in my book (as follows).
" حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا : اسلام کی چکی 35 سال تک گھومے گی ، یا 36 سال ۔ اگر وہ ہلاک ہو گئے تو ہلاک ہونے والوں کی راہ چلے جائیں گے اور اگر ان کا دین قائم رہا تو ستر سال تک قائم رہے گا ۔ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا : یا رسول اللہ ﷺ اس میں گزشتہ زمانہ بھی شامل ہے ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا : جو باقی بچا ہے ، وہ ہے ۔ ٭٭ یہ حدیث صحیح الاسناد ہے لیکن امام بخاری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اور امام مسلم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے اس کو نقل نہیں کیا ۔ ایک حدیث ایسی ہے جس کی اسناد تینوں کتابوں سے خارج ہے لیکن وہ ہمارے موضوع کے بہت قریب ہے ، اس لیے میں نے اس کو اپنی کتاب میں درج کر لیا ہے ۔ ( جیسا کہ درج ذیل ہے )"
Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain ki Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Irshad farmaya: Islam ki chakki 35 saal tak ghoome gi, ya 36 saal. Agar woh halaak ho gaye to halaak hone walon ki rah chale jayenge aur agar unka deen qaem raha to sattar saal tak qaem rahega. Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne kaha: Ya Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is mein guzishta zamanah bhi shamil hai? Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Jo baqi bacha hai, woh hai. ** Ye hadees saheeh al-isnaad hai lekin Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alaih aur Imam Muslim Rahmatullah Alaih ne isko naqal nahi kiya. Ek hadees aisi hai jis ki isnaad teenon kitaabon se kharij hai lekin woh hamare mauzu ke bahut qareeb hai, isliye maine isko apni kitaab mein darj kar liya hai. (Jaisa ki darj zail hai).
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا بَكَّارُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ الْقَاضِي، ثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ نَاجِيَةَ الْكَاهِلِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «تَدُورُ رَحَا الْإِسْلَامِ لِخَمْسٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ، أَوْ سِتٍّ وَثَلَاثِينَ، فَإِنْ يَهْلِكُوا فَسَبِيلُ مَنْ هَلَكَ، وَإِنْ يُقَمْ لَهُمْ دِينُهُمْ يُقَمْ لَهُمْ سَبْعِينَ عَامًا» فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ بِمَا مَضَى أَوْ بِمَا بَقِيَ؟ قَالَ: «بِمَا بَقِيَ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ، وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ، حَدِيثٌ إِسْنَادُهُ خَارِجٌ عَنِ الْكُتُبِ الثَّلَاثِ، أَخْرَجْتُهُ تَعَجُّبًا إِذْ هُوَ قَرِيبٌ مِمَّا نَحْنُ فِيهِ "" [التعليق - من تلخيص الذهبي] 8589 - صحيح
