Hamzah bin Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that his father said : "I was with the Prophet (صلى ہللا عليه و آله وسلم) on a journey, and he said : 'Stay back O' Mughirah (رضي الله تعالى عنه)! Go ahead, O' people!' So I went back, and I had with me a vessel of water. The people went ahead, and there the Apostle of Allah ( صلى ہللا عليه و آلهوسلم) relieved himself. When he came back I went and poured water for him. He was wearing a Roman cloak with narrow sleeves and he wanted to expose his hands (to wash them) but the sleeves were too tight, so he brought his hands out from beneath the Cloak and washed them, and wiped over his Khuffs."
مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نبی اکرم ﷺ کے ساتھ ایک سفر میں تھا تو آپ نے فرمایا: مغیرہ! تم پیچھے ہو جاؤ اور لوگو! تم چلو ، چنانچہ میں پیچھے ہو گیا، میرے پاس پانی کا ایک برتن تھا، لوگ آگے نکل گئے، تو رسول اللہ ﷺ قضائے حاجت کے لیے تشریف لے گئے، جب واپس آئے تو میں آپ پر پانی ڈالنے لگا، آپ تنگ آستین کا ایک رومی جبہ پہنے ہوئے تھے، آپ نے اس سے اپنا ہاتھ نکالنا چاہا مگر جبہ تنگ ہو گیا، تو آپ نے جبہ کے نیچے سے اپنا ہاتھ نکال لیا، پھر اپنا چہرہ اور اپنے دونوں ہاتھ دھوئے، اور اپنے سر کا مسح کیا، اور اپنے دونوں موزوں پر مسح کیا۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اپنے دونوں پاتابوں اور جوتوں پر مسح کیا۔
Mu'ghirah bin Sha'bah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke main Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath ek safar mein tha to aap ne farmaya: Mu'ghirah! Tum peeche ho jao aur logo! Tum chalo, chananche main peeche ho gaya, mere pass pani ka ek bartan tha, log aage nikal gaye, to Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) qaza-e-hajat ke liye tashreef le gaye, jab wapis aaye to main aap par pani dalne laga, aap tang aasteen ka ek Rumi jubbah pehne huwe the, aap ne is se apna hath nikalna chaha magar jubbah tang ho gaya, to aap ne jubbah ke neeche se apna hath nikal liya, phir apna chehra aur apne dono hath dhuwe, aur apne sar ka masah kiya, aur apne dono mozon par masah kiya. Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne dono patabon aur juto par masah kiya.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حَمْزَةَ بْنَ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي سَفَرٍ فَقَالَ " تَخَلَّفْ يَا مُغِيرَةُ وَامْضُوا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ " . فَتَخَلَّفْتُ وَمَعِي إِدَاوَةٌ مِنْ مَاءٍ وَمَضَى النَّاسُ فَذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِحَاجَتِهِ فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ ذَهَبْتُ أَصُبُّ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِ جُبَّةٌ رُومِيَّةٌ ضَيِّقَةُ الْكُمَّيْنِ فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يُخْرِجَ يَدَهُ مِنْهَا فَضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِ فَأَخْرَجَ يَدَهُ مِنْ تَحْتِ الْجُبَّةِ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ .
