Amir bin Abdullah bin Az-Zubair (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated from his father that when the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sat to say the tasha-hud, he placed his left hand on his left thigh and pointed with his forefinger, and his gaze did not go beyond the finger with which he was pointing.

عبداللہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ جب تشہد میں بیٹھتے تھے تو اپنی بائیں ہتھیلی بائیں ران پر رکھتے، اور شہادت کی انگلی سے اشارہ کرتے، آپ کی نگاہ آپ کے اشارہ سے آگے نہیں بڑھتی تھی۔
Abdullah bin Zubair razi Allah anhuma se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah ﷺ jab tashahhud mein bethte thay to apni bayen hatheli bayen ran par rakhte, aur shahadat ki ungli se ishara karte, aap ki nigah aap ke ishara se aage nahi barhti thi.
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ إِذَا قَعَدَ فِي التَّشَهُّدِ وَضَعَ كَفَّهُ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُسْرَى وَأَشَارَ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ لاَ يُجَاوِزُ بَصَرُهُ إِشَارَتَهُ .
