It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet said: When the believer is dying, the angels of mercy come to him with white silk and sya: 'Come out content and with the pleasure of Allah upon you to the mercy of Allah, fragrance and a Lord Who is not angry; So it comes out like the best fragrance of musk. They pass him from one to another until they bring him to the gate of heaven, where they say: '; How good is this fragrance that has come to you from the Earth! Then the souls of the believers come to him and they rejoice more over him than any one of you rejoices when his absent loved one comes to him. They ask him: 'What happened to so-and-so, what happened to so-and-so?' They say: 'Let him be, for he was in the hardship of the world. When he says, 'Did he not come here?' They say: 'He was taken to the pit (of Hell).' Come out discontent, subject of Divine wrath, to the punishment of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime; So it comes out like the foulest stench of a corpse. They bring him to the gates of the Earth, where they say: 'How foul is this stench!' Then they bring him to the souls of the disbelievers.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: جو اللہ تعالیٰ سے ملنا چاہے اللہ تعالیٰ ( بھی ) اس سے ملنا چاہے گا، اور جو اللہ تعالیٰ سے ملنا ناپسند کرے اللہ تعالیٰ ( بھی ) اس سے ملنا ناپسند کرے گا ۔ شریح کہتے ہیں: میں ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس آیا، اور میں نے کہا: ام المؤمنین! میں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو رسول اللہ ﷺ کی ایک حدیث ذکر کرتے سنا ہے، اگر ایسا ہے تو ہم ہلاک ہو گئے، انہوں نے پوچھا: وہ کیا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے: جو اللہ سے ملنا چاہے اللہ ( بھی ) اس سے ملنا چاہے گا، اور جو اللہ تعالیٰ سے ملنا ناپسند کرے اللہ تعالیٰ ( بھی ) اس سے ملنا ناپسند کرے گا لیکن ہم میں سے کوئی ( بھی ) ایسا نہیں جو موت کو ناپسند نہ کرتا ہو۔ تو انہوں نے کہا: بیشک یہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے، لیکن اس کا یہ مطلب نہیں جو تم سمجھتے ہو بلکہ اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ جب نگاہ پتھرا جائے، سینہ میں دم گھٹنے لگے، اور رونگٹے کھڑے ہو جائیں، اس وقت جو اللہ تعالیٰ سے ملنا چاہے اللہ تعالیٰ ( بھی ) اس سے ملنا چاہے گا، اور جو اللہ تعالیٰ سے ملنا ناپسند کرے اللہ تعالیٰ ( بھی ) اس سے ملنا ناپسند کرے گا ۔
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: jo Allah Ta'ala se milna chahe Allah Ta'ala (bhi) us se milna chahega, aur jo Allah Ta'ala se milna na pasand kare Allah Ta'ala (bhi) us se milna na pasand karega. Sharih kehte hain: main Ummul Momineen Aisha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ke pas aaya, aur main ne kaha: Ummul Momineen! main ne Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki ek hadith zikr karte suna hai, agar aisa hai to hum halak ho gaye, unhon ne poocha: wo kya hai? Unhon ne kaha: Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya hai: jo Allah se milna chahe Allah (bhi) us se milna chahega, aur jo Allah Ta'ala se milna na pasand kare Allah Ta'ala (bhi) us se milna na pasand karega lekin hum mein se koi (bhi) aisa nahi jo maut ko na pasand na karta ho. To unhon ne kaha: beshak ye Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya hai, lekin is ka yeh matlab nahi jo tum samajhte ho balke is ka matlab ye hai ke jab nigah pathra jaaye, seenay mein dam ghatne lage, aur rongete khare ho jaaye, is waqt jo Allah Ta'ala se milna chahe Allah Ta'ala (bhi) us se milna chahega, aur jo Allah Ta'ala se milna na pasand kare Allah Ta'ala (bhi) us se milna na pasand karega
أَخْبَرَنَا هَنَّادٌ، عَنْ أَبِي زُبَيْدٍ، - وَهُوَ عَبْثَرُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ - عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ وَمَنْ كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ كَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ " . قَالَ شُرَيْحٌ فَأَتَيْتُ عَائِشَةَ فَقُلْتُ يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَذْكُرُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَدِيثًا إِنْ كَانَ كَذَلِكَ فَقَدْ هَلَكْنَا . قَالَتْ وَمَا ذَاكَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ وَمَنْ كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ كَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ " . وَلَكِنْ لَيْسَ مِنَّا أَحَدٌ إِلاَّ وَهُوَ يَكْرَهُ الْمَوْتَ قَالَتْ قَدْ قَالَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَلَيْسَ بِالَّذِي تَذْهَبُ إِلَيْهِ وَلَكِنْ إِذَا طَمَحَ الْبَصَرُ وَحَشْرَجَ الصَّدْرُ وَاقْشَعَرَّ الْجِلْدُ فَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ وَمَنْ كَرِهَ لِقَاءَ اللَّهِ كَرِهَ اللَّهُ لِقَاءَهُ .
