Sunan an-Nasa'i 1835
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘Allah loves to meet him, and whoever hates to meet Allah, Allah hates to meet him.’ (One of the narrators) Shuraih said, 'I went to Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) and said, O mother of the believers, I heard Abu Hurairah (رضئ هللا تعالی عنہ) narrate from the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) a Hadith which, if that is the case, we are all doomed. She said, 'what is that?' He said, the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, whoever loves to meet him, and whoever hates to meet Allah, Allah hates to meet him. But there is no one among us who does not hate death.' She said, 'the Apostle of Allah did say that, but it is not what you think. When the eyes begin to stare, the death rattle sounds in the chest and the flesh shiver, at that point, whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him, and whoever hates to meet Allah, Allah hates to meet him.’

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے: جب میرا بندہ مجھ سے ملنا چاہتا ہے تو میں ( بھی ) اس سے ملنا چاہتا ہوں، اور جب وہ مجھ سے ملنا ناپسند کرتا ہے تو میں ( بھی ) اس سے ملنا ناپسند کرتا ہوں ۔
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Allah Ta'ala farmata hai: Jab mera banda mujh se milna chahta hai to main (bhi) us se milna chahta hoon, aur jab woh mujh se milna napasand karta hai to main (bhi) us se milna napasand karta hoon.
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ، قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، ح وَأَنْبَأَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى إِذَا أَحَبَّ عَبْدِي لِقَائِي أَحْبَبْتُ لِقَاءَهُ وَإِذَا كَرِهَ لِقَائِي كَرِهْتُ لِقَاءَهُ " .
