Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that one day they were sitting in the Masjid with a group of the Muhajirin and Ansar, we sent a man to Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) to ask permission to come to her. She said, 'a beggar came to me one day when the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was present, and I ordered that he be given something, then I called for it and looked at it. The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, do you want that nothing should enter or leave your house without your knowledge? I said, 'yes.' He said, ‘don't be hasty, O 'Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها). Do not count what you give, otherwise Allah will count what He gives to you.'

ابوامامہ بن سہل بن حنیف رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم لوگ ایک دن مسجد میں بیٹھے ہوئے تھے ہمارے ساتھ کچھ مہاجرین و انصار بھی تھے، ہم نے ایک شخص کو ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس ملاقات کی اجازت حاصل کرنے کے لیے بھیجا، ( انہوں نے اجازت دے دی، ہم ان کے پاس پہنچی تو انہوں نے کہا: ایک بار میرے پاس ایک مانگنے والا آیا اس وقت رسول اللہ ﷺ میرے پاس تشریف فرما تھے، میں نے ( خادمہ کو ) اسے کچھ دینے کا حکم دیا، پھر میں نے اسے بلایا اسے دیکھنے لگی تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”کیا آپ چاہتی ہیں کہ بغیر آپ کے علم میں آئے تمہارے گھر میں کچھ نہ آئے اور تمہارے گھر سے کچھ نہ جائے؟“ میں نے کہا: جی ہاں، آپ نے فرمایا: ”عائشہ! ٹھہر جاؤ، گن کر نہ دو کہ اللہ عزوجل بھی تمہیں بھی گن کر دے“۔
Aboo Amamah bin Sahl bin Hanif (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke hum log ek din Masjid mein baithe huwe the, hamare sath kuchh Muhajireen o Ansar bhi the, humne ek shakhs ko Ummul Momineen Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ke pass mulaqat ki ijazat hasil karne ke liye bheja, (unhon ne ijazat de di, hum un ke pass pahunche to unhon ne kaha: Ek bar mere pass ek mangne wala aya us waqt Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mere pass tashreef farma the, main ne (khadim ko) usse kuchh dene ka hukm dia, phir main ne usse bulaya usse dekhne lagi to Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Kya aap chahti hain ke baghair aap ke ilm mein aaye tumhare ghar mein kuchh na aaye aur tumhare ghar se kuchh na jaaye?” main ne kaha: Ji haan, aap ne farmaya: “Ayesha! Thahir jao, gun kar na do ke Allah Azzawajal bhi tumhein bhi gun kar de”.
أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي هِلاَلٍ، عَنْ أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ هِنْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ، قَالَ كُنَّا يَوْمًا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ جُلُوسًا وَنَفَرٌ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالأَنْصَارِ فَأَرْسَلْنَا رَجُلاً إِلَى عَائِشَةَ لِيَسْتَأْذِنَ فَدَخَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَىَّ سَائِلٌ مَرَّةً وَعِنْدِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَمَرْتُ لَهُ بِشَىْءٍ ثُمَّ دَعَوْتُ بِهِ فَنَظَرْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَمَا تُرِيدِينَ أَنْ لاَ يَدْخُلَ بَيْتَكِ شَىْءٌ وَلاَ يَخْرُجَ إِلاَّ بِعِلْمِكِ " . قُلْتُ نَعَمْ . قَالَ " مَهْلاً يَا عَائِشَةُ لاَ تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَيْكِ " .
