Chapter: The Al-Mannan: One Who Reminds People Of What He Has Given Them

باب الْمَنَّانِ بِمَا أَعْطَى ‏‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 2562

Saalim bin Abdullah narrated from his father that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘there are three at whom Allah will not look on the Day of Resurrection; (i) the one who disobeys his parents, (ii) the woman who imitates men in her outward appearance, and (iii) the cuckold. And there are three who will not enter Paradise: The one who disobeys his parents, the drunkard, and the one who reminds people of what he has given them.’

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”تین طرح کے لوگ ہیں جن کی طرف اللہ تعالیٰ قیامت کے دن نہ دیکھے گا، ایک ماں باپ کا نافرمان، دوسری وہ عورت جو مردوں کی مشابہت اختیار کرے، تیسرا دیوث ( بے غیرت ) اور تین شخص ایسے ہیں جو جنت میں نہ جائیں گے۔ ایک ماں باپ کا نافرمان، دوسرا عادی شرابی، اور تیسرا دے کر احسان جتانے والا“۔

Abdul Allah bin Umar radi Allah anhuma kehte hain ke Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Teen tarah ke log hain jin ki taraf Allah Ta'ala qiyaamat ke din nah dekhega, ek maa baap ka nafarman, dusri woh aurat jo mardon ki mushabat ikhtiyar kare, teesra dayuth ( be ghairat ) aur teen shakhs aise hain jo jannat mein nah jayenge. Ek maa baap ka nafarman, dusra aadi sharabi, aur teesra de kar ehsaan jatanewala".

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ ثَلاَثَةٌ لاَ يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الْعَاقُّ لِوَالِدَيْهِ وَالْمَرْأَةُ الْمُتَرَجِّلَةُ وَالدَّيُّوثُ وَثَلاَثَةٌ لاَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ الْعَاقُّ لِوَالِدَيْهِ وَالْمُدْمِنُ عَلَى الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَنَّانُ بِمَا أَعْطَى ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Sunan an-Nasa'i 2563

Abu Dharr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘there are three to whom Allah will not speak on the Day of Resurrection, or look at them, or sanctify them, and theirs will be a painful torment.’ The Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) repeated, and Abu Dharr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, ‘may they be lost and doomed.’ He said, ‘the one who lets his garment hang beneath his ankles, a vendor who tries to sell his product by means of false oaths, and the one who reminds people of what he has given them.’

ابوذر رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”تین شخص ایسے ہیں جن سے اللہ تعالیٰ قیامت کے دن نہ بات کرے گا، نہ ان کی طرف دیکھے گا، نہ ان کو پاک کرے گا، اور ان کے لیے درد ناک عذاب ہو گا“، پھر رسول اللہ ﷺ نے یہی آیت پڑھی۔ تو ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: وہ لوگ نامراد ہوئے، گھاٹے میں رہے، آپ نے فرمایا: ” ( وہ تین یہ ہیں ) اپنا تہبند ٹخنے کے نیچے لٹکانے والا، جھوٹی قسمیں کھا کھا کر اپنے سامان کو رواج دینے والا، اپنے دیے ہوئے کا احسان جتانے والا“۔

Abuzar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Nabi Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Teen shakhs aise hain jin se Allah Ta'ala qayamat ke din na baat karega, na un ki taraf dekhega, na un ko pak karega, aur un ke liye dard nak azaab hoga", phir Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne yehi ayat padhi. To Abuzar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne kaha: "Woh log namaad hue, ghaate mein rahe", aap ne farmaya: "(woh teen yeh hain) apna tahband takhne ke neeche lattkane wala, jhoti qasmein kha kha kar apne saman ko rawaj dene wala, apne diye hue ka ehsaan jatanewala".

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُدْرِكِ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ خَرَشَةَ بْنِ الْحُرِّ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ ثَلاَثَةٌ لاَ يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلاَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَرَأَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ خَابُوا وَخَسِرُوا خَابُوا وَخَسِرُوا ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ الْمُسْبِلُ إِزَارَهُ وَالْمُنَفِّقُ سِلْعَتَهُ بِالْحَلِفِ الْكَاذِبِ وَالْمَنَّانُ عَطَاءَهُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

ابوذر رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”تین شخص ایسے ہیں جن سے قیامت کے دن اللہ عزوجل نہ بات کرے گا، نہ ان کی طرف دیکھے گا، نہ انہیں پاک و صاف کرے گا، اور انہیں درد ناک عذاب ہو گا: اپنے دئیے ہوئے کا احسان جتانے والا، اپنے تہبند کو ٹخنوں سے نیچے لٹکانے والا، اپنے سامان کو جھوٹی قسمیں کھا کر رواج دینے والا“۔

Abuzar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Teen shakhson se Qayamat ke din Allah Azzawajal nah baat karega, nah un ki taraf dekhega, nah unhen pak o saaf karega, aur unhen dardnak azab hoga: apne diye hue ka ehsaan jutanewala, apne tehband ko takhnon se neeche latkanewala, apne saman ko jhoti qasmen kha kar rawaj denewala".

أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ، - وَهُوَ الأَعْمَشُ - عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ خَرَشَةَ بْنِ الْحُرِّ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ ثَلاَثَةٌ لاَ يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلاَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ الْمَنَّانُ بِمَا أَعْطَى وَالْمُسْبِلُ إِزَارَهُ وَالْمُنَفِّقُ سِلْعَتَهُ بِالْحَلِفِ الْكَاذِبِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
