Sunan an-Nasa'i 1019
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) heard the recitation of Abu Musa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) and said, he has been given a flute (his voice is melodious like a the instrument of flute) among the flutes of the family of Dawood (عليه السالم)’.

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ کی قرأت سنی تو فرمایا: انہیں آل داود کے لحن ( سُر ) میں سے ایک لحن عطا کیا گیا ہے ۔
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) bayan karte hain ke Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Abu Musa Ash'ari (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki qira'at suni to farmaya: Unhen Al-Dauud ke lahn ( sur ) mein se ek lahn ata kiya gaya hai.
أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، أَنَّ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَمِعَ قِرَاءَةَ أَبِي مُوسَى فَقَالَ " لَقَدْ أُوتِيَ مِزْمَارًا مِنْ مَزَامِيرِ آلِ دَاوُدَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ " .
