Sunan an-Nasa'i 1025
Salim narrated that his father said, he saw the Apostle of Allah; when he started to pray, raise his hands until they were parallel to his shoulders, (and he did that) when he bowed and when he raised his head from bowing’.

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہم کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو دیکھا کہ جب آپ نماز شروع کرتے تو اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھاتے، یہاں تک کہ آپ انہیں اپنے مونڈھوں کے بالمقابل لے جاتے ۱؎، اور جب رکوع کرتے، اور جب رکوع سے سر اٹھاتے تو بھی ایسا ہی کرتے۔
Abdullah ibn ʿumar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke main ne rasool-allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dekha ke jab aap namaz shuru karte to apne dono hath uthate, yehan tak ke aap unhen apne mondhon ke balmuqabil le jate 1, aur jab rukūʿ karte, aur jab rukūʿ se sir uthate to bhi aisa hi karte.
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلاَةَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يُحَاذِيَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ .
