Sunan an-Nasa'i 1324
It was narrated from Abdullah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to say Salam to his right and to his left, “As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah, as-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah)” until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen from here, and the whiteness of his cheek from here.
عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ اپنی دائیں طرف اور بائیں طرف «السلام عليكم ورحمة اللہ السلام عليكم ورحمة اللہ» کہتے ہوئے سلام پھیرتے، اور ( آپ اپنے سر کو اتنا گھماتے ) کہ آپ کے رخسار کی سفیدی ادھر سے، اور ادھر سے دکھائی دیتی۔
Abdul-Allah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Nabi-e-Akram Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam apni da'in taraf aur ba'in taraf «assalam-u-alaikum wa rahmatullah assalam-u-alaikum wa rahmatullah» kehte hue salam phirte, aur ( aap apne sar ko itna ghumate ) ke aap ke ruksar ki safedi udhar se, aur udhar se dikha'i deti.
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ " السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ " . حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ مِنْ هَا هُنَا وَبَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ مِنْ هَا هُنَا .
