Sunan an-Nasa'i 1597
Urwah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated from Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) that Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (رضي الله تعالى عنه) entered upon her and there were two girls with her beating the duff and singing, and the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was covered with his garment. He uncovered his face and said, ‘Let them be there, O Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه), for these are the days of 'Eid’. Those were the days of Mina and the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was in Al-Madinah on that day.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ ان کے ( گھر میں ) داخل ہوئے، ان کے پاس دو لڑکیاں دف بجا رہی تھیں، اور گانا گا رہی تھیں۱؎، رسول اللہ ﷺ اپنا چہرہ اپنے کپڑے سے ڈھانپے ہوئے تھے، تو آپ نے اپنا چہرہ کھولا، اور فرمایا: ابوبکر! انہیں چھوڑو کھیلنے دو، یہ عید کے دن ہیں، اور منیٰ کے دن تھے ۲؎ اور رسول اللہ ﷺ ان دنوں مدینہ میں تھے۔
Umme-ul-Momineen Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) kehti hain ke Abu Bakr Siddique (رضي الله تعالى عنه) unke ( ghar mein ) dakhil huwe, unke pas do larkeyan daf baja rahi thin, aur gana ga rahi thin1؎, Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apna chehra apne kapre se dhanpe huwe the, to aap ne apna chehra khola, aur farmaya: Abu Bakr! Inhen chhoro khelne do, yeh eid ke din hain, aur Mina ke din the 2؎ aur Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) in dinon Madina mein the.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ، حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَعِنْدَهَا جَارِيَتَانِ تَضْرِبَانِ بِالدُّفِّ وَتُغَنِّيَانِ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُسَجًّى بِثَوْبِهِ - وَقَالَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى مُتَسَجٍّ ثَوْبَهُ - فَكَشَفَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ " دَعْهُمَا يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ إِنَّهَا أَيَّامُ عِيدٍ " . وَهُنَّ أَيَّامُ مِنًى وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَئِذٍ بِالْمَدِينَةِ .
