Sunan an-Nasa'i 1702
Ubayy bin Ka'b (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to recite, “Glorify the Name of Your Lord, the Most High” in witr, in the second rak'a he would recite, “Say: O you disbelievers!”; and in the third, “Say: He is Allah, (the) One”. And he only said the taslim at the end, and he would say the meaning after the taslim, “Fajranal-Malikil-Quddus (Glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy)” three times.

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہم کہتے ہیں رسول اللہ ﷺ تین رکعت وتر پڑھتے، پہلی میں «سبح اسم ربك الأعلى» دوسری میں «قل يا أيها الكافرون» اور تیسری میں «قل هو اللہ أحد» پڑھتے۔ زہیر نے اسے موقوفاً روایت کیا ہے، ( ان کی روایت اس کے بعد آ رہی ہے ) ۔
Abdul Allah bin Abbas Radi Allah Anhum kehte hain Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) teen rakat witr padhte, pehli mein «Subhan Asm Rabbika al-A'la» dusri mein «Qul Ya Ayyuhal Kaafiroon» aur teesri mein «Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad» padhte. Zahir ne ise Mauqoofan Rawayat kiya hai, (in ki rawayat is ke bad aa rahi hai)
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُوتِرُ بِثَلاَثٍ يَقْرَأُ فِي الأُولَى بِـ { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى } وَفِي الثَّانِيَةِ بِـ { قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ } وَفِي الثَّالِثَةِ بِـ { قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ } أَوْقَفَهُ زُهَيْرٌ .
