Sunan an-Nasa'i 1780
Salim narrated from his father that Ummul Momineen Hafsa (رضي الله تعالى عنها) told me that when dawn glowed, the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) would pray two rak'a.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ فجر کی اذان اور اقامت کے درمیان ہلکی ہلکی دو رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے۔

أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، عَنْ يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ بَيْنَ النِّدَاءِ وَالإِقَامَةِ مِنْ صَلاَةِ الْفَجْرِ .
