Sunan an-Nasa'i 1971
Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that a poor woman in Al-Awali fell sick and the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to ask them about her. He said, 'if she dies, do not bury her until I have offered the funeral prayer for her. She died and they brought her to Madinah after dark, and they found that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) had gone to sleep. They did not like to wake him up, so they offered the funeral prayer for her and buried her in Baqi Al-Gharqab. The next morning, they came and the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) asked them about her. They said, 'she has been buried, O Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). We came to you and found you sleeping, and we did not like to wake you up.' He said, 'let's go.' He set out walking and they went with him and showed him her grave. The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) stood, and they formed rows behind him, and he offered the funeral prayer for her, saying the Takbir four times.’

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے لوگوں کو نجاشی کی موت کی خبر اسی دن دی جس دن وہ مرے، پھر آپ لوگوں کو لے کر صلاۃ گاہ کی طرف نکلے، اور ان کی صف بندی کی، ( پھر ) آپ نے ان کی نماز ( جنازہ ) پڑھائی، اور چار تکبیریں کہیں۔
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se riwayat hai ke Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne logoon ko Najashi ki mout ki khabar usi din di jis din woh mare, phir aap logoon ko le kar salah gah ki taraf nikle, aur un ki saf bandi ki, ( phir ) aap ne un ki namaz ( janaza ) parhai, aur char takbiriyan kahain.
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَعَى لِلنَّاسِ النَّجَاشِيَّ الْيَوْمَ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ بِهِمْ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى فَصَفَّ بِهِمْ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ .
