Sunan an-Nasa'i 2024
Yazid bin Thabit (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that they went out with the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) one day and he saw a new grave. He said, ‘what is this?’ They said, ‘this is so-and-so, the freed slave woman of Banu so-and-so’ - whom Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) knew – ‘she died at midday and we did not like to wake you up when you were fasting and taking a nap.’ The Apostle of Allah (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) stood (for prayer) and the people formed rows behind him. He said four Takbirs over her then he said, ‘if anyone among you dies while I am still among you, inform me, for my prayer for his is a mercy.’

عامر بن شراحیل شعبی کہتے ہیں مجھے اس شخص نے خبر دی ہے جس نے نبی اکرم ﷺ کو دیکھا کہ آپ ایک الگ تھلگ قبر کے پاس سے گزرے، تو آپ نے اس کی نماز جنازہ پڑھی، اور اپنے پیچھے اپنے اصحاب کی صف بندی کی، پوچھا گیا: آپ سے کس نے بیان کیا ہے؟ تو انہوں نے کہا: ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے۔
Aamir bin Shurahail Sha'bi kehte hain mujhe us shakhs ne khabar di hai jis ne Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dekha ke aap ek alag thalig qabr ke pas se guzre, to aap ne us ki namaz janaza parhi, aur apne peeche apne ashab ki saf bandi ki, poocha gaya: aap se kis ne bayan kiya hai? To unhon ne kaha: Ibn Abbas Radiyallahu Anhuma ne.
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ أَنْبَأَنَا عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ، رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَرَّ بِقَبْرٍ مُنْتَبِذٍ، فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَصَفَّ أَصْحَابَهُ خَلْفَهُ . قِيلَ : مَنْ حَدَّثَكَ قَالَ : ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ .
