Sunan an-Nasa'i 2076
Anas (ru narrated that they were with 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) between Makkah and Madinah when he started to tell us about the people of Badr. He said, the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) showed us the day before where they (the disbelievers) would fall. He said, this is the place where so-and-so will fall tomorrow, if Allah wills.' 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, 'by the One Who sent him with the truth, they did not miss those places, they were placed in a well and the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) came to them and called out, O so-and-so, son of so-and-so! O so-and-so, son of so-and so! Have you found what your Lord promised to be true? I have found what Allah promised me to be true. 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, 'are you speaking to bodies in which there are no souls?' He said, 'you do not hear what I say any better than they do.’

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ بدر کے کنویں پہ کھڑے ہوئے ( اور ) فرمایا: ”کیا تم نے اپنے رب کے وعدہ کو صحیح پایا؟“ ( پھر ) آپ نے فرمایا: ”اس وقت جو کچھ میں ان سے کہہ رہا ہوں اسے یہ لوگ سن رہے ہیں“، تو ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے ذکر کیا گیا، تو انہوں نے کہا: ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے بھول ہوئی ہے، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ( یوں ) کہا تھا: ”یہ لوگ اب خوب جان رہے ہیں کہ جو میں ان سے کہتا تھا وہ سچ تھا“، پھر انہوں نے اللہ کا قول پڑھا: «إنك لا تسمع الموتى» ( النمل: ۸۰ ) یہاں تک کہ پوری آیت پڑھی۔
Abdul-allah ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se riwayat hai ke Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Badar ke kunwein peh khare hue (aur) farmaya: "Kya tum ne apne Rab ke waada ko sahi paya?" (Phir) aap ne farmaya: "Is waqt jo kuchh main in se keh raha hun isse yeh log sun rahe hain", to Ummul-Momineen Ayesha radiyallahu anha se zikr kiya gaya, to unhon ne kaha: Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se bhul hui hai, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne (yun) kaha tha: "Yeh log ab khub jaan rahe hain ke jo main in se kehta tha woh sach tha", phir unhon ne Allah ka qoul padha: «Innka la tasma'ul-mutawa» (An-Naml: 80) yeh tak ke puri ayat padhi.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ آدَمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقَفَ عَلَى قَلِيبِ بَدْرٍ فَقَالَ " هَلْ وَجَدْتُمْ مَا وَعَدَ رَبُّكُمْ حَقًّا - قَالَ - إِنَّهُمْ لَيَسْمَعُونَ الآنَ مَا أَقُولُ لَهُمْ " . فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِعَائِشَةَ فَقَالَتْ وَهَلَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ إِنَّمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّهُمُ الآنَ يَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ الَّذِي كُنْتُ أَقُولُ لَهُمْ هُوَ الْحَقُّ " . ثُمَّ قَرَأَتْ قَوْلَهُ { إِنَّكَ لاَ تُسْمِعُ الْمَوْتَى } حَتَّى قَرَأَتِ الآيَةَ .
