Sunan an-Nasa'i 2127
Ribi narrated that one of the companions of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) reported that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, 'do not anticipate the month until you complete the number, or you see the crescent. Then fast, and do not stop fasting until you see the crescent, or you complete thirty days. Al-Hajjaj bin Artah reported it in a Mursal from.

ایک صحابی رسول رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”تم رمضان کے مہینہ پر سبقت نہ کرو یہاں تک کہ شعبان کی گنتی پوری کر لو، یا رمضان کا چاند دیکھ لو پھر روزہ رکھو، اور نہ روزہ بند کرو یہاں تک کہ تم عید الفطر کا چاند دیکھ لو، یا رمضان کی تیس ( دن ) کی گنتی پوری کر لو“۔ حجاج بن ارطاۃ نے اسے مرسلاً روایت کیا ہے۔
aik sahabi rasul (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke rasulallah salallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "tum ramazan ke mahine par sabqat na karo yahaan tak ke shaban ki gunti puri kar lo, ya ramazan ka chand dekh lo phir roza rakho, aur na roza band karo yahaan tak ke tum eid ul fitr ka chand dekh lo, ya ramazan ki tis (din) ki gunti puri kar lo" . hajjaj bin artaa' ne ise mursalan riwayat kiya hai.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ، عَنْ بَعْضِ، أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تَقَدَّمُوا الشَّهْرَ حَتَّى تُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ أَوْ تَرَوُا الْهِلاَلَ ثُمَّ صُومُوا وَلاَ تُفْطِرُوا حَتَّى تَرَوُا الْهِلاَلَ أَوْ تُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ ثَلاَثِينَ " . أَرْسَلَهُ الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ .
