Sunan an-Nasa'i 2131
Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated that the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) swore not to come to his wives for a month, but he came after twenty-nine days had passed. I said, 'did you not vow to keep away from you wives for a month? I have counted, (it is only) twenty-nine days.' The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, 'the month (also consists of) twenty-nine days.’

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے قسم کھائی کہ ایک ماہ ( تک ) اپنی بیویوں کے پاس نہیں جائیں گے، چنانچہ آپ انتیس دن ٹھہرے رہے، تو میں نے عرض کیا: کیا آپ نے ایک مہینے کی قسم نہیں کھائی تھی؟ میں نے شمار کیا ہے، ابھی انتیس دن ( ہوئے ) ہیں، تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”مہینہ انتیس دن کا بھی ہوتا ہے“۔
Umme-ul-Momineen Ayesha Razi Allah Anha kehti hain ke Rasool Allah SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM ne qasam khai ke ek mah (tak) apni biwiyon ke pas nahin jayenge, chananchh aap untis din thahre rahe, to maine arz kiya: kya aap ne ek mahine ki qasam nahin khai thi? Maine shumar kiya hai, abhi untis din (hue) hain, to Rasool Allah SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM ne farmaya: "Mahina untis din ka bhi hota hai".
أَخْبَرَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ أَقْسَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ لاَ يَدْخُلَ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ شَهْرًا فَلَبِثَ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ فَقُلْتُ أَلَيْسَ قَدْ كُنْتَ آلَيْتَ شَهْرًا فَعَدَدْتُ الأَيَّامَ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ " .
