Sunan an-Nasa'i 3484
Ummul Momineen Aishah (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated that Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas and Abd bin Zam'ah (رضي الله تعالى عنهما) disputed over a boy. Sa'd (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, 'O Apostle of Allah (صلى ہللا عليه و آله وسلم), this is the son of my brother 'Utbah bin Abi Waqqas, who made me promise to look after him because he is his son. Look at whom he resembles.' 'Abd bin Zam'ah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, 'he is my brother who was born on my father's bed to his slave woman.' The Apostle of Allah ( صلى ہللا عليهو آله وسلم) looked to determine at whom he resembled and saw that he resembled 'Utbah. He said, 'he is for you, O 'Abd (رضي الله تعالى عنه)! The child is the bed's and for the fornicator is the stone. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) then said to Ummul Momineen Sawdah bint Zama (رضي الله تعالى عنها) to veil herself from him. And he never saw Ummul Momineen Sawdah bint Zama (رضي الله تعالى عنها) again.’

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ سعد بن ابی وقاص اور عبد بن زمعہ رضی اللہ عنہما کا ایک بچے کے سلسلہ میں ٹکراؤ اور جھگڑا ہو گیا۔ سعد رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! یہ بچہ میرے بھائی عتبہ بن ابی وقاص کا ہے، انہوں نے مجھے وصیت کی تھی کہ وہ ان کا بیٹا ہے ( میں اسے حاصل کر لوں ) ، آپ اس کی ان سے مشابہت دیکھئیے ( کتنی زیادہ ہے ) ، عبد بن زمعہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: وہ میرا بھائی ہے، میرے باپ کی لونڈی سے پیدا ہوا ہے۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اس کی مشابہت پر نظر ڈالی تو اسے صاف اور واضح طور پر عتبہ کے مشابہ پایا ( لیکن ) رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اے عبد ( عبد بن زمعہ ) وہ بچہ تمہارے لیے ہے ( قانونی طور پر تم اس کے بھائی و سر پرست ہو ) ، بچہ اس کا ہوتا ہے جس کے تحت بچے کی ماں ہوتی ہے، اور زنا کار کی قسمت و حصے میں پتھر ہے۔ اے سودہ بنت زمعہ! تم اس سے پردہ کرو ۱؎، تو اس نے ام المؤمنین سودہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو کبھی نہیں دیکھا ( وہ خود ان کے سامنے کبھی نہیں آیا ) ۔
ummul momineen aishah radhiallahu anha kehti hain ke saad bin abi waqas aur abd bin zamaa radhiallahu anhuma ka aik bachay ke silsila mein takrao aur jhagraa ho gaya saad radhiallahu anhu ne kaha: allah ke rasool! yeh baccha mere bhai utba bin abi waqas ka hai, unhon ne mujhe wasiyat ki thi ke woh in ka beta hai ( main isse hasil kar loon ) , aap is ki un se mushbahaat dekhiye ( kitni zyada hai ) , abd bin zamaa radhiallahu anhu ne kaha: woh mera bhai hai, mere baap ki laundi se peda hua hai rasoolallaah sallaallahu alaihi wasallam ne is ki mushbahaat per nazar dali to usse saaf aur wazeh tor per utba ke mushabah paya ( lekin ) rasoolaal lah sallaallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: ”aey abd ( abd bin zamaa ) woh baccha tumhare liye hai ( qanooni tor per tum is ke bhai w sarparast ho ) , baccha is ka hota hai jis ke tahat bacche ki maa hoti hai, aur zina kar ki qismat w hisse mein pathar hai aey souda bint zamaa! tum is se pardah karo 1log, to us ne ummul momineen souda radhiallahu anha ko kabhi nahin dekha ( woh khud in ke samne kabhi nahin aaya ) .
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتِ اخْتَصَمَ سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ وَعَبْدُ بْنُ زَمْعَةَ فِي غُلاَمٍ فَقَالَ سَعْدٌ هَذَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ابْنُ أَخِي عُتْبَةَ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ عَهِدَ إِلَىَّ أَنَّهُ ابْنُهُ انْظُرْ إِلَى شَبَهِهِ . وَقَالَ عَبْدُ بْنُ زَمْعَةَ أَخِي وُلِدَ عَلَى فِرَاشِ أَبِي مِنْ وَلِيدَتِهِ . فَنَظَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى شَبَهِهِ فَرَأَى شَبَهًا بَيِّنًا بِعُتْبَةَ فَقَالَ " هُوَ لَكَ يَا عَبْدُ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ وَاحْتَجِبِي مِنْهُ يَا سَوْدَةُ بِنْتَ زَمْعَةَ " . فَلَمْ يَرَ سَوْدَةَ قَطُّ .
