Sunan an-Nasa'i 3544
Ikrimah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said about the saying of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime – [ And those of you who die and leave behind wives should bequeath for their wives a year's maintenance and residence without turning them out,] (Al-Baqara - 240) that he said, ‘this was abrogated by – [And those of you who die and leave wives behind them, they (the wives) shall wait (as regards their marriage) for four months and ten days.] (Al-Baqara - 234)
عکرمہ (رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ) نے اللہ تعالی کے فرمان کے بارے میں کہا - [اور تم میں سے جو لوگ فوت ہو جائیں اور بیویاں چھوڑ جائیں انہیں اپنی بیویوں کے لیے ایک سال کا نان و نفقہ اور رہائش وصیت کرنی چاہیے بغیر انہیں نکالے،] (البقرہ - 240) کہ انہوں نے کہا، 'یہ اس آیت سے منسوخ ہو گئی - [اور تم میں سے جو لوگ فوت ہو جائیں اور بیویاں چھوڑ جائیں، وہ (بیویاں) چار ماہ اور دس دن (نکاح کے بارے میں) انتظار کریں گی۔] (البقرہ - 234)
Ukrema (Radhi Allahu Ta'ala Anhu) ne Allah Ta'ala ke Farman ke Bare Mein Kaha - [Aur tum mein se jo log فوت ho jaen aur biwiyan chhor jaen unhen apni biwiyon ke liye ek saal ka nan o nafaqa aur rehaish wasiyat karni chahiye baghair unhen nikale,] (al-Baqarah - 240) ke unhon ne kaha, 'Yeh is aayat se mansookh ho gai - [Aur tum mein se jo log فوت ho jaen aur biwiyan chhor jaen, woh (biwiyan) char mah aur das din (nikah ke bare mein) intezar karen gi.] (al-Baqarah - 234)
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { وَالَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوْنَ مِنْكُمْ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزْوَاجًا وَصِيَّةً لأَزْوَاجِهِمْ مَتَاعًا إِلَى الْحَوْلِ غَيْرَ إِخْرَاجٍ } قَالَ نَسَخَتْهَا { وَالَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوْنَ مِنْكُمْ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزْوَاجًا يَتَرَبَّصْنَ بِأَنْفُسِهِنَّ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا } .
